Criterion uses them as well.
But, blame EA if you want to, along with their power-ups.

There's been nitrous in Burnout for as long as I can remember.

They started using it since Burnout 3, when the nitrous can be used anytime.
I'm glad they have more than one Aston Martin car in this game.
Can someone who has played the demo on the ps3 add me on PSN? I already tried asking some of my friends but they ignored me.

There's 4.
One-77.
AMV12.
DBS.
DBS Volante.
Definitely going to find a way to buy this game now that i'm broke. I wish they'd also remake High Stakes. Best one in my opinion.

What's High Stakes? It doesn't ring a bell.

High Stakes is the 4th game of the NFS series, and one of my personal favorites.
meh it's just another EA "game a year" recycle. shit kiddie physics powerup supercar smasher, nothing new.
Could someone add my xbox live who also has the demo at Danwesik
Then i can play the locked track
Haha "BUSTED" more like fucking killed.

Seriously I cannot wait for this. I remember the hours of fun I had playing Hot Pursuit 2 with a friend. Doing the cop vs speeder game mode, whatever it was called.
Playing the demo on PS3 erry day. You cant stop once you started. Got 01:02.30 as record on Dark Horse track :smug:

I loved playing HP2 with friends. It was called hot pursuit, iirc.
I crashed a guy when I was a cop, and he flipped like crazy and was smashed by 2 other "bad guys" and he was thrown of the road into a wall. Then it said "Busted".
:wtc: I think he died.
High Stakes is the 4th game of the NFS series, and one of my personal favorites.
My favorite part in High Stakes:
Local cops, where cops speak in language where you are racing.
Damn you Xbox Live, you have to cost more, and actually cost money. I can't play online Hot Pursuit.
By the way, busted=you fucking killed the fucker. I managed to get a merit or distinction.
They redeemed themselves somewhat after Undercover, but, I am going to maybe play Most Wanted before Hot Pursuit.

Yes, I remember that. But, the NFS games post underground haven't been outside the USA (I think, correct me if I'm wrong), so that wouldn't be necessary.

The place is already fictional.
Less than 2 weeks to go!
Less than 2 weeks to go!
Exactly two weeks.
5 days left before the demo is over.
The place is already fictional.
I know, but it could be a fictional place inside the USA.
I was really excited to play this game. Then I played the demo.. It's more of a Burnout game than a Need for Speed game. Most Wanted was my personal favorite of the series, this is nothing at all like that.
I know, but it could be a fictional place inside the USA.
It is.
Now, the setting is inspired by past Hot Pursuit games.
They are well known for being windy and lengthy.

Well, not being pedantic or anything but Shift took place pretty much globally.
