So my spawnpoint is a considerable distance from my base and I've decided to make a cart based highway. However, even with a ramp stretching to the highest point on the map, I still don't generate enough energy to make it all the way there. Is there a layout I can exploit to receive a boost? I've seen videos of perpetual minecarts, should I build on of these loops then set up a redstone switch so I can sit in the cart for a while building up energy, then hit the switch and get launched down the highway?

Bring 5-10 stone pickaxes, find coal and there might be some iron close by. Natural caves tend to have a lot of iron.

Funny that a few people watched my stream. Was probably really boring...
It lags a fair bit for me, does the stream lag a lot?
And sorry for not saying anything in the chat, when I use any other window than Minecraft, it crashes. So unless I can chat in Livestream inside the game window, then I cannot really talk. Completely new to this.
Oh well, had to stop streaming for a bit since I got a call on Skype. Will stream more later.
Do you know what's a pain? Sewers. Making sewers after you already have many bridges and streams.

Start off by making circle-ish houses. Basically just make a regular block house and cut off the corners. Then take the edges of the roof and take those off, so your roof is sloped a bit. That gives it a nice, basic feel, plus it saves resources!

Anyone want to buy me Minecraft? I can give you a Company of Heroes key or a Company of Heroes: Opposing Fronts key. Neither are used. I bought the CoH Gold edition at a store a few years back, and ToV on steam, so those are all on one account, and when the THQ pack was on sale a few weeks back I bought it, so I have a copy of CoH and OF on steam. Although most of you probably won't trust me :S
