How do i open jar's? It just takes me to the archive. (Totally related, "Minecraft in linux is a jar")

I am running Linux atm (FUCKING PARENTS WONT GET WINDOWS 7) and I have to settle for normal minecraft since none of the cartographers or mine edit things work for me.

It was a bitch to figure out how to install the littlest thing. I think it would. but it runs just fine using Iced Tea. even though the graphics are buggy for me but I don't think my GPU is supported or has drivers for linux...

I think that during winter season in Minecraft, only sheep and other animal mobs with fur should be out, and during summer/fall/spring cows, pigs, and whatever other furless animal mobs Notch will add will be out

During winter in minecraft, mobs should behave differently. Sheep should stay together in herds during snowstorms. It should also snow hard randomly for a couple days, which sets your fog distance to tiny temporarily and doubles the rate at which snow builds up at. There should also be some days where it doesn't snow at all, with no fog (on the distance you decide).
