Or reload the game, apparently. I fixed the first one by accidentally closing minecraft's tab out, but I am now in a second one.
Time pockets supposedly appear in CPU spikes, in which your CPU has a massive slow moment generating a part of the map (IE: Antivirus scans), so you're probably better off generating a new map and disabling your antivirus when playing minecraft.

What madness.
You're telling me to DESTROY THEM? What madness.
Either destroy them, or run into them yelling mad cool quotes. IE: Destroy them.
I just hit a time pocket myself, fuck :v: [editline]08:06AM[/editline] But it's in water
Apparently pressing F Lets you go
Why don't you just change the damage to a really, really big negative number so you don't have to stack tools? :raise:
it tends to be more stable when they are stacked, i have had my negative durability suddenly disappear a couple times when i was moving it around. Edit: Page King! :D
Just bought the game. Hell ya! Anyone have a good guide on how to play this survival stuff. I am so confused. :saddowns:
Hold punch on a tree. Take the wood, press "I" and put it in the four square box. Take the crafted wood out and put 4 in a square in the square box. You now have a workbench. Put the workbench down on the ground and right click it. Now you should see a 3x3 square. (spoilers)SCIENCE http://www.minecraftwiki.net/wiki/Crafting If you want to mine, make a pickaxe, if you want to chop moar trees, axe (you can make as many as you want.) What's the point of golden apples?
Since I got boxes ahoy and no feedback as to what was wrong with it I tried some various other things to try and make it look better. Previously: [img_thumb]http://i148.photobucket.com/albums/s5/Pridit/Minecraft/minecraft2.png?t=1279261443[/img_thumb] [img_thumb]http://i148.photobucket.com/albums/s5/Pridit/Minecraft/minecraft3.png?t=1279261444[/img_thumb] Now: [img_thumb]http://i148.photobucket.com/albums/s5/Pridit/Minecraft/minecraft5.png?t=1279261615[/img_thumb] [img_thumb]http://i148.photobucket.com/albums/s5/Pridit/Minecraft/minecraft6.png?t=1279261598[/img_thumb] Better/worse? As I said before I'm only just starting out so any kind of helpful feedback would be appreciated.
Generally 27 threads in we've seen it all so don't be surprised if some people rate you dumb, regardless of you being new. As for what you've created, I say you destroy it and build something new. Don't get creatively attached to any one building.
What's the smoothest streaming software for streaming minecraft? Manycam doesn't update quick enough.

I had an old save I didn't want anymore so I downloaded NBTForge and screwed around a bit. Here's the results: It's a GIGANTIC spherical hole in the ground that's so big the game doesn't render the full thing. Also, water sphere

You need to make TNT trees. With wooden planks for leaves. Then put an axe to one of them.
Well it looks like this program can't do that... But I can make a solid sphere of TNT the size of that crater.
I'm streaming, I am making a nice settlement high above and today I need to clear a few cliffs with some trusty old dynamite :D EDIT* I give up, game keeps crashing every 5mins.
For maximum effect, please open the following video in another tab and let it play in the background while reading. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jkLXOWimMY8 One fine day, out in the countryside, I was building a few structures at the bottom of the cliff which my castle was perched upon. The creepers were asleep (most likely in my mines), so I didn't have a care in the world. The pigs and the sheep watched curiously as I went about constructing my constructions. It was a rather productive day for me, and I had built a large statue and an aqueduct which would provide fresh water to my castle from a nearby mountain spring, all before noon. Feeling energized by my accomplishments, I began construction of a fiendish device, a most fiendish device indeed. It was designed to trap wandering creatures and, using the power of water currents, pull them down into a flooded basin. Their lungs would fill with water and they would asphyxiate, causing them to drop all of their worldly belongings. The water current would pull these items through a small gap further into the device, where they would be deposited for easy collection. After many test runs and near-death experiences later, the device was complete. I sat in a nearby tree and waited for my first victim. Mere minutes later, my wait was over. A lone sheep came along and, apparently interested by the mysterious new construction, promptly jumped into the water current. I hopped down and eagerly awaited the inevitable, but the sheep would not give in so easily. He summoned all of his sheepish strength in an effort to outswim the current, but it was to no avail. Slowly but surely, he neared the pit which would mean his demise. Just before being pulled under, he turned around and looked me straight in the eyes, as if to say... "How could you?" I watched in horror as he drowned and ran around to the other side of the device, the collection area. 3 blocks of soft, white wool floated out and landed on the ground at my feet. I gave a salute to the strong hero, a sheep who I have named "Thomas". I picked up the wool and built a shrine in his honor on the hills on which he used to jump and play. Let this shrine serve as a beacon of hope for generations to come. In Memoriam, Thomas "Tom" The Sheep Rest In Peace

Inacio, The reason I left so quickly, is because I had to go to the bathroom, and I though my stomach was going to explode. Just though I would let you know. [editline]12:11AM[/editline]
God it was AWESOME
Yes it was!
Your server is very crash happy.
I know, it only started happening when I switched to hosting it off dropbox, I'm gonna try to fix it. Server is back up, don't know if that fixed it, but I'm changing the ports to default ones tommorow. http://www.minecraft.net/play.jsp?server=d28d948a59ffda9077948be441aa99cf
