I'm in a gigantic ocean and I haven't seen any land for awhile except for a medium sized island.
Had to travel a good while to find the new stuff but found this awesome island with a lot of sand, cactii and the new trees.
Not sure if this has come in this update, but a creeper just exploded inside me, quite literally, on hard and didn't insta kill me which it usually does?
Just tested it again and it did, so no idea.
When you break a block and the mini block appears, the shadow under it draws over the entire block it's on top of.

That's a glitch on your part, I had it the other day and just restarted the game, it went away.
