maybe Notch didn't add any new files. maybe he just changed some things for creepers so they spawn in the water and don't drown... it would look like the Loch Ness monster.

Awesome, I started a new map. I'm gonna build a big tree fort :D By the way, is it possible to put down tree leaves back onto the tree after they're gone?

Doomish isn't dead. I talked to him about an hour ago. He should be unbanned in about 4 hours.

A cactus house is way too unrealistic in a real save. I made a new map and so far it's 20MB and I don't have enough cactus for half a house.

Doomish died in a car crash yesterday.

I've been messing around with MineEdit, replacing all the rock tiles with water, and all the earth/grass tiles with sand. Sand won't fall until something falls next to it, so I dig a small hole to begin the reaction and make the world begin caving in. From that point on, it's a race against time to get to the top of a tree.

Hey guys, I'm trying to set up a server. However, every time I run the server it generates a new level. I have a level I wish the server to use, and I replace server_level.dat with it. But it just overwrites it and generates an entirely new level. Any ideas?

HOLY SHITSTICKS!Notch didn't just add sea monsters,I just saw something [B]fly[/B] straight up from far away in my game! :gonk: COULD HE HAVE ADDED DRAGONS?Also,he messed with the world generator thing,it's ore varied now.Right now in-game,I'm standing on a perfectly flat plain with some pigs and sheep and in the distance there are HUGE flat-sided pillars,one of them with the first waterfall I've seen ever.Maybe the sea monsters can also fly?Amphibious dragons :O I agree with the bottom poster.THIS IS SO MYSTERIOUS
