Side note about Biomes:
If you make a map and it starts as a snow map, it will eventually stop snowing. It is not a random amount of time, it's a specific number of ingame days, but I don't know or have any intention of finding out what it is. Once the snow stops it will never start again without NBT hacks. If you change snow to 1 in NBTEdit to make it artificially snow on your pre-existing maps, it will never stop. If you make a map and it is a normal map, it will never start snowing.
I can conclude Biomes are fake because everyone is saying so and I just spent almost 2 hours walking around into unexplored land and no changes at all.
To the guy who posted the fake cartographer thing, fuck you for wasting 2 hours of my life.

shit. I just build a really cool house on a really cool cliff/cave/hangover/peninsula thingy and I died because of a fucking skeleton somehow spawned on my FULLY LIT island. now the save is fucked up with the glitch.

Result - Sailboat. Faster movement than the tub you float around in atm

intel c2d 2.53ghz
256mb radeon hd3400 series
2gb of ram
It is a new game, so does it take a while load everything
I'm gonna go play some TF2 till this "when you die your save is fucked" bug is gone, I don't fancy dying underwater and not being able to play anymore, and I ran out of stone anyway...

Biomes DO exist,just not really as extreme as deserts and tundras yet.I recntly came across a nearly completely flat area on big continent with huge cliff mountain things that formed a U shape with flat sides and waterfalls(and two lavafalls).Before,there were basically no places like that,only loads and loads of islands.

I wish boats wouldn't break upon touching things, at least as slow speed anyway.
And I hope he removes the fact if you look to the side the boat turns. I can't look around while sailing without making the boat swerve all over the place.
