Dear lord. Thunder and Rain always on makes any world a hellish drab deathscape. I like it.
I remember first experiencing rain on my server with my friend. We sat in our house until it stopped and we felt like an old couple. Aaah, there's nothing like mushroom stew by the incinerator.
