Well I finally bought it, disregarding advice to get a free account :V now I've honestly got no idea what's going on
Hop on teamspeak and shout (or type) for help!
Found an AI settlement, bitches shot me and a community member to death with insanely fast purple bolts. We got some payback with bombs and rockets, blew the land away from underneath them, love the destructable environment.
Eskil's made a change to the effects, which should appeal to a lot of people. http://www.gaminglove.net/forums/rumours-news/3250-soft-effects.html
Also, part 1 of the Q&A I conducted with Eskil a few weeks back. http://www.gaminglove.net/forums/rumours-news/3251-q-eskil-steenberg-part-1-a.html And, Eskil shares his future development ideas, and wants to know what you want to change in Love. How long do games usually last?
How long do games usually last?
It's an online game, it never stops.
Anyone have an account I can try the game on? PM me or post on here. I want to see if I like it before I pay for it.

And, hey, they even mentioned me in the interview! I feel so speshul.
Anyone have an account I can try the game on? PM me or post on here. Though, as I've probably said too many times before, I'd hop on teamspeak (info is in both the OP and on the main site) and ask there. If you don't have a microphone there's a chat system on TS.
Have this a pretty long try last night, loved it!
Have this a pretty long try last night, loved it!
I'm glad!
New occupation monoliths and artillery tokens are looking quite nifty.
This game rapes my eyes.
I love the look of this game, and the gameplay seems really awesome, but I'm worried that I'm just gonna be lost as shit when I start. [editline]6th February 2011[/editline] Fuck I need to buy this now.
I bought it and I'm lost. :D
I found a sub-monolith now, and it says I should click it to make it my home, but clicking doesn't do anything. I can form the terrain around it and all, but it doesnt seem like I own it.
That's your problem, you found a sub-monolith, not a real monolith. The sub-monolith is used to extend the range of the settlement, or to create outposts outside of the settlement. http://www.gaminglove.net/wiki/Sub_monolith
Is there a way to start on an empty server or create a new village, because I can only enter Atlanta server and I see one village. Which is automatically my home village. I also has everything, so I can't really contribute to it anymore.
Unfortunately, no. The only times a new monolith token spawns in the world is when there's no existing settlement or when there are 10 players active in the game at the same time.
Whats you people's ingame name? As far as I'm concerned I couldn't choose mine, but it named me Agena Agenon, I play on Atlanta as its the only server I can access.
I'd like a friend account or whatever - If I sub, I'll say you refered me!
Okay, so I was just on Atlanta and the old settlement got destroyed, someone found a new monolith on a rock in the sky, a flood came and made it impossible to get off. The flood went away, I and 3 other guys built a new settlement, my PC started lagging from all the terraforming I was doing, I had to quit. We were already being attacked so I guess its gonna be gone tomorrow too. Hope not though.

As time goes on they will likely start to last even longer as the player-base grows and people become more experienced.
OP will be updated shortly with new info!
OP will be updated shortly with new info!
Lots of new info to add, there should also hopefully be some new videos of Eskil at various conferences surfacing sometime soon.
Is this too laggy to play for anyone?
The only lag I've experienced is graphical, on my old crappy laptop. No server issues though.
Lots of new info to add, there should also hopefully be some new videos of Eskil at various conferences surfacing sometime soon.
Will do within the next few days. Got kind of busy, sorry! haha.
I really would like to play this, but my parents would never pay yearly for something let alone half a year.
If you're having to get your parents to buy you games still, this probably isn't for you.
