This is true but I'm pretty sure if it came down to a situation where two candidates could not be separated; I'd find myself going with the 05er instead of a 09er. Just because of the fact that they have been around for longer. Of course if someone would make a good mod it doesn't matter their reg-date, but at the end of the day, I think history and knowledge of Facepunch is a valuable asset, and older members may be better suited to being a mod.
Saying that, I'm an 06er, but if an 08er/09er got Mod, more power to them. They obviously make good posts and are thus being rewarded.

I don't think anyone can even do that - IIRC the original account is un-deletable even by admins with the highest privileges.
