I would say most girl and guy gamers are decent enough looking. There are some homely varieties of both though :v:

I don't have a mic or anything, but people have mistaken me for female before, many times. Someone even tried to force his way into ERPing with me, at which I flat out stated "You realise I'm a guy, right?" The guy never talked to me again. :v:

I have noticed that many girls have started playing video games. very often when i talk to a girl they mention a video game they like.

My wife plays, and so what? Everything, everywhere you go is always about computers/internet. They've just found out about that stuff. Hell, people use memes from 2004 or something now.

I'm an ugly little shit with a horrid voice and personality, so I don't think a girl would admit to being a girl to me, 'lest I start talking to her.

Out of the 205 friends on my steam list, about 6 are girls. 2 are the bad type, 4 are good.

I've seen all types of people play online games. Young people, middle aged people, girls, guys, mothers, fathers, etc etc. I would say its based more on what games we are talking about here. I've seen a lot of women on WoW (Not guys pretending to be girls, surprisingly enough), but very few on FPS games like Halo and CS:S.

I don't know any girls who play real video games regularly (by real, I'm referring to stuff that isn't [i]Wii Fit[/i]). Sometimes I get told by someone that they played a game with their dad or brother or something, but I imagine that was just because they walked in the room and were like "hey what's that?". Case in point, a friend was telling me the other day how she "played that fighting game. The one with all the blood" .. which I assume was [i]Mortal Kombat[/i].
