Unfortunatly, I've run into a shit ton of them. While not every girl does this, I remember vividly we had a one hot girl in our D&D group. She was there before me, late join and all, so when they gave her first pick at first I was fine. Then it happened the next time, they handed shit out to her. At one point me and her were cornered in a quest and I watched her back while she ran off and did her own thing, the one time I asked for help she didn't give me any so when I let her die to save my own ass she got angry. She started cursing at me and calling me sexist and the other morons kicked me out. A week later, she got kicked out because she tried to take all the loot.

Most of my girl gamer friends just remain anonymous, infact I was playing w/ one of them for like 6 months before I figured out she was a girl (she never used the mic) [editline]24th April 2011[/editline] it's cool how girls playing games brings out all the hidden misogyny in guys though

Playing WOW with a girl avatar has scarred me for life. As a guy I find it pretty creepy when someone is nice to me all of a sudden. MMORPGs are not dating games for fucks sake.

My 23 year old sister and 58 year old mother both play games, and not just casual things either. My sister plays everything from Minecraft to STALKER, and my mother plays third person action adventure (from Tomb Raider to the Grand Theft Auto series), classic games on an Amiga emulator (like Lemmings) and the occasional racing game. The three of us also play coop missions in Operation Flashpoint together sometimes.
