• Alien Swarm Section

The thing that Alien Swarm disappointed me about was the lack of campaigns. I saw the teaser and was like "Pretty bad-ass!" I got into the game. "One campaign? Uh...uh...okay..." I really expected 4 like L4D1 BUT it is still very satisfying. [editline]01:10AM[/editline]
I suddenly remember another game that everyone said should get a subforum that will last a while because of a potentially large modding community, it was just cause I wonder where that subforum went...
Along with the others. Down the shitter :v:
That's why it needs a section, to promote the creation of third person modifications and then you can make more campaigns for the game, and if they're unique and good enough you could get them added to the game as official community map campaigns.
Just add a subforum. It's not like it's hard to delete it if it dies
TF2 is pretty bad compared to Alien Swarm considering its just another random team based deathmatch game. Alien Swarm is open source so it is automatically superior and yes there should be a sub forum for it.
The game has gained such popularity. Voted yes.
We don't need a subforum for every single new release. All it'll do is make the front page look untidy.
Sure, why not? I mean, it wouldn't hurt to have one, but I honestly think with a short amount of levels and the same level layouts (No director) that there's not going to have much to talk about. On another thought, it is a free game so a lot of people will have it to keep the board alive.
We don't need a subforum for every single new release. All it'll do is make the front page look untidy.
How the fuck will it make the front page look untidy. It would barely be seen from the front page
it'll keep this section nice and tidy and give us a place to showcase mods, campaigns and Tilegen themes. Do it.
What's the big deal anyways ? it's not like garry has to pay 1000 bucks for every deletion/creation of a subforum.
Wait a month, if there's still a lot of modding interest, then add one.
