The upgrade from the light Panzer III to the medium Panzer III is pretty lame, although I haven't researched the 75mm cannon yet.
I don't understand what to do yet.
Should I just chill in the back with the Russian tank or something?

The armor goes from 15 to 70. That's a huge upgrade!

It wasn't so much shitty tactics, but outdated doctrine that made the French lose in 1940. They thought that they could wipe the Germans from the face of the earth with their superior weapons and technology.
I hope to see some more Commonwealth tanks in the future. The Centurion is one tank I really want to use.
Managed to get this working by trying a method on their forum, can't wait to try it out.

Just stick with your team mates and help kill enemies.
Learned about the auto track feature, got me 1 kill already!
As soon as you get into the later light tanks stuff gets expensive.

Fucking KV's are nigh invulnerable to anything but the higher end TD's so far.
Man i'm doing terribly with the PzKpfw 35, I get more than triple the amount of kills with the Leichttraktor.

And it worked. BRILLIANT!
In any way, I just went full out-Russian Tanks, and currently I am using the completely pimped out starter tank. Works much better than the free, original version (despite ammo costing quite a sum) and gets me a kill or two every round. After next battle, I am getting a new tank.
Gameplay-wise, the game is entertaining. It's much better than Blitzkrieg 1941, art least for now. Artillery is more of an annoyance than support, one of it's main downfalls, as it's usual tactic is to "blast things out of range, in hope of kills". In that case, it's very powerful, although rather limiting.
Much of the gameplay is based on camping and hiding. That's rather sad, as defender has an advantage of better aiming and placement, against incoming enemies, who without artillery support, can be easily destroyed.
And the game needs a mode where you respawn, just for all-out war orgy.

Yeah, a mode with respawns would be a lot of fun.
For those of you stuck with the beginning tanks try hiding behind ally or enemy destroyed tanks, you keep your accuracy and the enemy can hit nothing but your turret. Got 4 kills with a Leichkktraktor by doing that.

I fucking hate the fact that enemy outlines glow when your gun is pointed at them.
I was using that russian beginner tank and was sitting in a giant bush, visually invisible for the other team when suddenly I get flakblasted from a giant distance by some guy who I think saw me when the outlines started to glow.
Haven't made a kill yet :frown:
Can you at all get out of the tanks? I don't care if you can't, but I'd like to.

Ahaha, I just had the best round ever.
It was on that open map with the trains, we all (And I mean [i]everybody[/i]) went to the right and charged into their base. We had like 8 tanks circling around the flag at once. :v:
