As much as I love this game, arty is annoying as fuck. In my opinion they are the reason why some battles descend into stalemate - because everyone is too afraid to move up for fear of being one-shotted.

Haha, I love my Marder II. I snuck up behind two Panzer III and took no damage from either one. Damn stug came around the corner and got me though.

Usually someone countdowns in the channel and you press "Battle" all at the same time.

I suggest SPG, it's very rare to see artillery in normal matches.

My entire team, except me, got wiped out with three enemy tanks left. I took all three of 'em out. Ended up with five kills in total.
In the SU-18.
I am leaning towards SPGs because I can get a Wespe, but at 594 credits per shot I don't think it will be very cost effective.

If you take SPG, everyone is gonna hate you. Tank destroyer gets you some money too. I earn more money with Marder II doing nothing than with Pz III.
protip: don't waste your money on a T-46, either save up for something better or go another Tech path.
If you're on the Russian tree and just starting out, get a BT-2. That thing with a 23mm auto-gun is a beast. Zoom past the enemies to their base and just circle around their arty full-speed firing that thing.
^Then you get the BT7 and all your shots never penetrate anything :sigh:
