I just witnessed our whole team being distracted by a BT-2 while enemy assault guns snuck up on us and fired our asses off.
I am quite happy with my AT-1 with 76mm cannon, does some nice damage, isn't the most maneuverable machine out there, but is nice for sitting in a bush and blasting the ass off any light/mediums.
Make about 2-3.5k per standard match, repairs cost from 300-600 (if fully destroyed), ammo costs next to nothing, quite a profitable tank.
Also it's a bit of a jump in price from AT-1 to the SU76 isn't it? 10,000 to 140,000 or whatever it is.

Whenever I search for the facepunch channel nothing shows up. Is there a specific time I should be looking or something?

Facepunch with a capital F.
Is there a way to get the resolution down to 800 x 600 and custom settings, so I can drop everything down to lowest?
I am seriously getting pissed off at artillery. Certain matches just boils down who has the most artillery and a light tank rushing towards your team to spot them all so it's 8:0 a minute after the match started.
I am going to go with the Wespe, seeing as how I "main" a light tank, learning how artillery works first hand might help me know what my allies have to deal with, and how to best defeat enemy arty.

This.
Fuck yeah. Just got Pz IV and the KwK 40 cannon for it without having to fight at all due to free XP. No need to use the Pz III cannon.
As someone on the WoT forums explained perfectly;
I think the problem with SPGs is just how other players 'experience' them. Driving, driving, driving, boom dead. In an FPS, at least a sniper needs direct line of sight to hit you, and that's easily avoided. In WoT, if you're spotted, you're toast. It's a lot harder to get to safety in a lumbering tank on relatively clear and open maps (compared to a typical FPS), and when the shot comes there is little you can do about it short of drive crazily and hope he misses.
Tank Destroyers are powerful, but they need to aim right at you. You have the ability to avoid their fire, circle around, and hit them where they can't shoot back, and if they're in a position to fire, so are you. Every time you fight a Tank Destroyer, it's you vs him. When a SPG kills you, it comes completely out of the blue, and leaves no indication that you could have avoided it. It's no fun, because instead of you fighting another player, it's you fighting the detection mechanic, and then him fighting the aiming mechanic. There's a disconnect there.
SPGs are the snipers from FPSes, except the maps are more open, the players far slower, no line of sight is needed, and long range that makes them invulnerable to retaliation. With those in mind, it's no wonder SPGs are seen as broken.
If their range were significantly decreased, they would still have the advantage of indirect fire (compared to TDs). They would be more involved in the combat, since they'd have to be near enough to it to be useful. And light tanks would become excellent SPG-hunters, with their speed allowing them to close quickly with the SPGs and destroy them.
This is exactly the problem.
Just saw 2 tigers battling it out for victory. Shit's crazy yo.

Working for the PzIV now, I hate grinding...
So I'm thinking what route I should go next with my main tank, PzIV or PzIII/IV. Can anyone point out the main differences between the two? I'm also trying to work my way towards the Panther.
PzIV is a full Panzer 4, the PzIII/IV is a Panzer 3 body with a Panzer 4 gun. It's halfway between a TD and a tank. I'd go with the PzIV.
I'm guessing snaper lost. Dude sucks

But if I go with the IV I'd have another tank to go through to get to the Panther, hm.. choices :(

Nevermind, there's too many SPGs now, STOP GETTING SPG AND BURN THEM IN HELL.

Getting credits and xp with the IV will be easier than with the III/IV.

Good point, I think I'll go with the IV then, thanks!
fucking leopard is costing me more credits than it earns me.

Only if you play a failround
Fucking PzIV needs so much EXP to unlock hnnngggg
French (Premium only)
Im going to assume they move faster while reversing?
Yeah, I am losing money on the leopard too. Had 70k credits, figured I would play a few matches to get to 80k and buy my Wespe. Had a couple of bad games and after an hour I have gained 8k.
It is awesome winning a match, losing a match, then winning a match and having less money than you had before you won the first match. What the fuck?
Im going to assume they move faster while reversing?
You drive them backwards into battle.
Im going to assume they move faster while reversing?
Oh god, zing!
Only if you play a failround
luchs always wins credits no matter what :P
Fuck, I had to close my PC due to thunder a while ago. In the middle of playing that map with the field. The one where I said someone shot me in the ass. Which side won?
Sami-pso, just had a duel with your Leopard.. you're lucky that arty got me :P
