Maybe they fixed it then. All I know is that the two installers I downloaded from there were both corrupt, and I wasn't the only one with that problem with their installer.

Light tanks are mostly frontline spotters for tank destroyers and artillery, they can't really face off against anything larger unless they manage to come up right behind it and shoot at their ass.
Saw an article about it in a magazine, looks pretty fun.
Its free so worth a try.

I cannot hit shit. Really, enemy tanks look like they are jumping 20 meters at once because the LoS system is like that apparently. Looks really laggy. :smith:

Are light tanks good? I like being able to run around wearing them down slowly.
Artillery is way too powerful in this. It should be a weapon which would lose in direct fights, but has the advantage of hitting at long distances. It wouldn't kill as easily, so to do well with it you would have to stay back and win against the enemy by attrition. As it is right now artillery dominates every game.
This is actually quite easy if you know what you're doing.
Finally, I'm in the realm of Medium Tanks.

Fantastic. Downloaded and installed fine but it refuses to update beyond 50%. It tells me to check my connection. I tried some of those downloaded update files, didn't help. Dammit.

I agree, the artillery is really retarded the way it is now. As soon as a light tank spots you you get insta killed by arty rape. Nothing you can do.
I've heard that artillery isn't as crazy against tanks that aren't light.
How the fuck do I make money to buy new stuff? I've been in like 8 battles. Also, does the beta have a time limit?

Not sure, but i'm a tankdestroyer and i usually die in 1 hit before i can even fire at someone. I just looked at the official forums and there's tons of threads about how annoying arty is. Let's hope they fix it before the official release. That's what betas are for anyway.

You try and hit a tank on the run as a tank destroyer. Almost impossible.
It was awesome playing with my PanzerJager1 a while ago, got 5 kills.

You have to stay to the end of the battle to get the maximum amount of money. So when you die, don't quit, but spectate to the end of the fight. If you quit you lose a lot of the loot.

Not at all. If you die and quit, you get the same rewards you do if you survive.

You get 150 gold a day. 1 gold = 400 credits. 400 x 150 = 60 000 credits. That means you get 60 000 free credits each day if you don't spend it on anything else! :D
