Have you read about it? They say it's going to be something like HOI3. I can imagine FP as russia, and will take over the entire map in days.

How many people bitching about SPGs have actually used them?
I started using my Wespe the other day and I really don't get as many lame kills as you people whine about.

I use an SPG. You get an RTS view of a battlefield. And if you are sufficiently protected, it just becomes a race for sure kills VS other SPGs on your team.
I saw sufficiently protected and SPG in the same sentence there, what's up with that?

I had other SPGs kill enemies who were point blank to me. :/

Of course non controllable and they have no effect on the outcome of the game, but imagine an open field of dead bodies, destroyed tanks, and planes fighting in the sky. All while waiting for a tank to come into your line of sight and to pop a shot into him.

I like the infantry idea, especially if they were just ragdolled npc's that just ran about and were clientside (different for everyone), didn't effect the battle in anyway, just shot at eachother and stuff.
Hell if you didn't like them you could turn them off cause they'd be clientside.
Same with planes too, that'd be cool.
What I'd really like is a Wirbelwind though.. With 4 continual-fire flak guns, ultimate light-tank destroyer, balance it by making the shells not that penetrative, HE, and limited ammo.
Oh my god the AI infantry thing sounds amazing. Have squads that move towards certain objectives, and tanks are required to help them move on towards objectives. Like a seperate gamemode.
Also, ambient plane explosions raining down upon you.
I'd like a trench map where the tanks can actually jump the trenches, like that part in Call of Duty.
Also a snow map with Ice patches that tanks slide on/fall through if they're too heavy. Also shooting the ice makes it crack apart and have huge holes in it.
Sounds like that would be Men of War.

I've never really noticed that. I just figured light tanks are scouts for artillery and bigger tanks, can kill enemy artillery and run laps around most bigger tanks. Medium tank fights end up either being who is faster or has a bigger gun, I've seen Panzer III's take down Panzer IV's before. Heavy tanks can rip apart most tanks but are large and easy to spot and surround. TD stay back and tend to have better accuracy, and even when I had my Marder II I didn't notice I was dying anymore then now with my StuG. SPG are well, SPG.
