Have they patched this game any or is still you're lower tier than me, you die lololol
That's what happens when you sit there exchanging fire with a much bigger tank. Move around.
I'd like more specialist/ unique to team tanks. In terms of specialist vehicles, maybe a command tank for each team which is lightly armed, heavily armoured but had fittable modules that boost the team as a whole. For example you could fit it with a radio booster that extends everyone's radio range or you could put an extended vision turret on it so it could act solely as a spotter. This would be useful in clan wars. In terms of unique tanks, maybe stuff with short range flamethrowers for disabling tanks engines but not really doing great amounts of damage or a Wirbelwind for the Germans.
V2 soon :smug:
Players will rage when their fancy schmancy KV gets a Panzerfaust in the ass.
Learn to read.
Learn to read.
Just saying. How many players know and are going to use the concept of combined arms?
Just saying. How many players know and are going to use the concept of combined arms?
I've played a lot of games where the players atleast stick together and have the light tanks act as screeners while the heavy/TDs go in the middle, with medium tanks ride on the sides. I'm pretty sure people will learn the concept of combined arms as soon as infantry is implemented. They have to, or they will die.
How many of you actually USE the Facepunch channel.
if infantry gets introduce the t28 will pretty much be op
If the T-28 in the game is anything like IRL it's a giant stinking pile of mechanical failures and horse shit. Same with the T-35.
If the T-28 in the game is anything like IRL it's a giant stinking pile of mechanical failures and horse shit. Same with the T-35.
T-28 is in game, and it's crap. T-35 will be a premium tank so that makes it automaticly shit.
If the T-28 in the game is anything like IRL it's a giant stinking pile of mechanical failures and horse shit.
They said so in the IRC channel (which is the offical one) so I'd take it that it's confirmed.
And in the FAQ it says:
Are there any machine guns in the game? Tanks have machine guns installed on them, but as long as there is no infantry, there’s no need to use them in battles, because even the most powerful machine gun is not capable of penetrating armor of a decent tank. Infantry will be implemented further on.

If the T-28 in the game is anything like IRL it's a giant stinking pile of mechanical failures and horse shit. Same with the T-35.
Then Tiger would have to have mechanical breakdown in almost every battle...
T-28 is in game, and it's crap.
T-28 is actually pretty good, if you are lucky enough to ram into a light tank/side of Hetzer or anything else. But more often than not, your team abandons you, thinking you can actually do shit by yourself. They are horribly wrong.
It's on the website, under the FAQ. Also, I use the Channel in game. God damnit didn't check the last page.

Its a huge target with armor made of paper mache, a light tanks armament, and an engine compartment that seems to have been doused with gasoline and is encased in plastic explosives. And after you finally manage to get out of it, you get the KV, which is also a piece of shit. People taking the Russian heavy route don't have much too look forward to until the IS :frown: Edit: Has anyone read the tips? Tons of them are saying "Protect your arty to win!", "The enemies arty should be your main objective!", "Arty should be your teams main firepower!", "Light tanks are great spotters for your arty!". What the hell is that bullshit? I thought this was World of Tanks, not World of Artillery and Artillery spotters.
Have any of you ever seen Tip99?
That's what happens when you sit there exchanging fire with a much bigger tank. Move around.
Try playing a KV then get back to me k hurrrr

Like the one that says something like "A light or medium tank trying to be a heavy tank will not last long", I hate it when I see A-20s and panzer IIIs sitting in the back of our base in standard. :argh: [editline]05:47PM[/editline] And then they get one shotted from the front.
Try playing a KV then get back to me k hurrrr
cool
Have any of you ever seen Tip99?
yes, the tip 99 is : "tip99"
I love one hit kills with the Leopard. I usually use assisted/lock on fire but sometimes manually fire to take the tracks off of tank destroyers.
Have any of you ever seen Tip99?
I knew it, I am not insane! [IMG_THUMB]http://i565.photobucket.com/albums/ss98/gufu1992b/shot_011.jpg[/IMG_THUMB] HE COMES!

Ugh I abandoned my VK3601 was 200k away from tiger to go the panther path, sucks but I think I'll really enjoy it once I get there. As I find heavy tanks very boring.
yeah, but it's paper.
Everything is paper. The tanks are just painted to look metallic.

I don't like this game
I don't like this game
Why not?
I actually enjoy the t28, it's terrible against pretty much everything (I only got 76mm cannon right now) but it works suprisingly well when you team up with a heavy tank or a good TD. You scout and draw fire, your companion comes and fuck their shit up. Or the other way, your companion draws fire and you rush their shit and set up shop behind them, usually you draw fire from them (stupid, because they should worry about your friend who can actually do damage) and/or their friends who are hiding, meaning you spot more tanks for the artillery you have or for your buddy who by now should be done with the first target. Sure, you die 9 out of 10 times, but it's worth it when your team wins and you gain 6-8k. Which means I'll make a profit of 4-6k if I die, or 6-8k if I live.
