That may be intentional.
That may be intentional.
It's obviously not intentional and you should feel bad for considering it is.
Is anyone else having problems with monsters spawning in very well lit areas? I have a castle that is perfectly well lit and has never had a monster spawn inside it, but now when it rains the monsters can spawn inside my castle NO PROBLEM. What the fuck man
I had the same problem with my large tunnels. I don't know how to fix it, but I usually just make some type of protection just in case, like keeping my tunnels connected by an iron door.
A creeper spawned in my hallway and blew up two double chests o god its everywhere
I can never connect to minecraft.net with the browser, is there a way to fix that?
Mobs can spawn when it rains because it lowers the light level
Well goddamnit that's obnoxious, at least make smooth jazz play when it rains.
Mobs can spawn when it rains because it lowers the light level
So it lowers the light level inside my windowless castle that is coated with torches? Oh okay.
The mob zone detection system is REALLY bugged this update. For example, 50% of the time when you go to sleep it triggers the mob wakeup and you have to use another bed to actually sleep. You also CANNOT sleep when it rains or it does the 100% chance of mob wakeup. Trust me, I've tried sleeping underground and dug into a mountainside with multiple beds in a room entirely covered in torches, it won't do shit.
Also, trees grow so fast it's not even funny.
It's obviously not intentional and you should feel bad for considering it is.
okay :smithicide:

Just keep your bed away from walls and make sure your floor is made of wool or something.

I liked the update, it un traumatised my wolfs because I accidentally hit one and all of them stopped standing up but when the update came we put that incident behind us
There's a bug where when you're riding in a minecart and exit it when it's still moving, you fall through the surface with the track to the surface below (Example is when you have a railway on a high bridge, you fall through to the ground, but your cart doesnt).
So it lowers the light level inside my windowless castle that is coated with torches? Oh okay.
Does it happen to be in SMP? I've had that problem before. Built a (windowless) sandstone 'castle', put up torches, and wondered why the hell mobs spawned behind my back. I rejoined, and found out THE ENTIRE AREA WAS PITCH BLACK. The torches only lit the block they were in. I might have a screenshot of that...
Am I the only one that crashes A LOT after this update? It's like, sometimes it blackscreens after 5 minutes...
Used to happen to me all the time until I updated my Java to the 64bit version. You may want to do the same if you have 64bit windows too, if you haven't already.
Powered rails need to be more efficient up slopes
I've went to sleep multiple times, when it's raining and when it isn't, and it's worked fine.
I tried that. I kept waking up to a mob attack. Until I moved, since then, it's great.
The skins are from the painterly pack, i just downloaded the pack myself.
those skins :gonk:
Painterly is a nice pack :/
Painterly is a nice pack :/
I like it a lot for having the best editor of any pack, but it's not really my style of pack.

This bed is safe because it's on a tiny platform and mobs wont spawn at different heights.

I have horrible luck and every time I search for the install I end up getting the same one every time.
Startup 64 bits internet explorer, go to the java website, done
Startup 64 bits internet explorer, go to the java website, done
Java still runs in a separate thread.

No, it's not pleasant.
