Ah, these negative reviews about the servers don't quite motivate me to buy this game, though it looks awesome. Maybe wait until there's more servers and maybe more content.
Whether you find servers with a good ping may depend on your provider. I get shit pings (>300) from about 80% of the servers I see, and a friend who lives 5km from me rarely gets pings over 100 at all.
Anyhow, I've already had many hours of fun with this game, and even if it gets boring tomorrow, it was still money well spent.
I usually ask myself this: How many hours of fun do you get per Dollar/Euro when you go to the movies?
Considering that my connection is utter shite. This issue will cause serious probelsm.
It depends more on the connections of the people who host. There seem to be enough people around who have good cons, as my friend gets pings of 50-80ms from most hosts.
For me most of those servers are utter shit though, even though my con is faster than my friend's and and it works great for all other games (~15ms for dedicated servers in my country).
Do some people from the US want to get some matches going like Friday or something? I'm tired of playing with idiots who think teamwork means blindly suicide rush the objective by yourself over and over.
If you're worried about connection why not host a game? I Usually host a co-op game if i cant find any servers and someone will join after a couple of minutes. its great fun =D
Bought it the other day and to my surprise, it runs perfect on my absolute piece of shit computer. It's extremely well optimized, so people who are doubting getting it cause of requirements, don't let it bother you. If [B]I[/B] can run it, you can.
Gameplay -- Eh, could use a few more classes and needs a little balance. But, other than that I think the gameplay is extremely well thought out, intriguing and fun with the different game modes. Could use a different crosshair, that's the only thing that bothers me. And sometimes the 3rd person camera gets in the way.
I say, it's worth the $15. If you can find a server, that is.
I keep coming back to this every now and again and the only thing pissing me off is the whole peer2peer bullshit and latency issues even in games with <100 ping and the fact most people are still retarded and don't understand how to press E.
There was a patch released today so hopefully it'll fix a bit of the lag problems

He ragequits or closes his server automatically whenever I join a match with him.

I just got into the HUD testing beta. The new huds are pretty interesting and I had a chance to meet a developer ingame too. I also get a second copy of LnG, really nice of them.

The deputy gets a shitty special. Also this game needs a reward system or something. I want to unlock weapons and shit or some motivation to keep playing when it gets a bit boring.
I thought Deputy's tagging made it easier to get a critical hit on an enemy, maybe it should do that.

this will be a cool game when dedicated servers are around, until then it is a floundering mess.
Will there be split screen at the consoles?
Because if there is I'll get it for the PS3 (tomorrow), otherwise I'll go for the PC.

They just said on the forums that they needed testers for their new experimental hud designs and that those who were interested should send in an email. I did and I got in. They are not asking for more people now it seems and they will continue to use us in the future too.

Sadly not that many, mainly because of the lack of dedicated servers. They are being worked on though and we can expect them soon. Luckily, there are always enough people to play with.

Sounds kind of strange since you can only buy it off steam at the moment on the PC. (As far as I know) You can't buy it retail. Were you in the closed hud beta by any chance? Because they gave me two keys for the game. Seems like you are trying to profit off those.
