They even admit it's not much of a difference over the older games, yet they still think it's one of the greatest games ever. Opposed to, I don't know, Killing Floor, or KotOR, or Cave Story.
Let's just agree on the following:
-the list is bullshit
-Gamepro now lost whatever credibility it had in the first place.
-This has no effect on our tastes and the future of the PC gaming industry
-There are many other games which deserve golden thrones in our hearts.
Let's not waste any more time on this pitiful list and just go on with whatever we were doing.

in all fairness, football manager 2011 is very deserving of it's place on that list.
much more deserving than fucking bejeweled, black ops, bulletstorm, alien swarm, crysis 2, bad company 2, assassins creed: brotherhood and need for speed.

I really love Borderlands. It's just unapologetically violent. I always play as Lilith, and absolutely love that she laughs whenever she gets a head shot. You really get the sense of being on a planet where anything goes as long as you have a gun and some ammo.
The minecraft picture is a picture of a lion. That isn't in the game and is in fact a mod. Also, someone who writes for Gamepro is Half-Life blind.

Cause there are more epic RTS games like World in Conflict and this 4 years old.
I think the writer is a heavy Mac user, hence why alot of those titles (especially the better numbered ones) are Mac-supported and the list is constructed by a retard.

Last time I checked, you could still buy 85% of "Top # PC games" at store shelves, like Kotor, BF Series, Diablo 2, Half-Life 2, and so on.
Half of that crap isn't even PC exclusive!

Alright, So maybe someone likes Bulletstorm more than they like Deus Ex, that's fine, whatever floats your boat. But when it comes to objectivity, this shit is a giant troll.
Most of these were just console ports, and those that weren't were very low on the list. And why would they even make the list at such a random time aside from just trolling the living shit out of the PC community just for shits and giggles?

BF1942 was great. BF2 was a bit sketchy, especially once the dolphin divers appeared. That and the jets produced HUGE balance issues. Aircraft would regularly go 100+ kills with no deaths. As for Half-Life and Deus Ex, not everyone actually agrees they are good games at all. Go to other forums and you'll find yourself ridiculed for liking either of them. I know I personally think Deus Ex is actually a terrible game, but that isn't a popular opinion here either.

Two little things about that list I don't enjoy. First of all, you not liking Batman because of it's rating. Last time I checked, Batman doesn't try to kill people and putting that into the game would have been really unnecessary, plus Joker already kills them if they fail to beat you, and knowing Joker it is a slow painful death. Secondly, you finishing Fallout NV's story in 3 hours. That either says you have the attention span of a 3 yr old with ADD or you rushed through the game. I'm going to go with the latter. Fallout NV isn't supposed to be rushed through. Why don't you try doing a bit of exploring and sidequests? They didn't put 80 sidequests in the game so you can ignore them. The main arguement people have with FO3 > FNV is that you somehow were able to explore more and the general scenery/environment/feel was much better. It seems you didn't do any of that because you were too busy rushing through the story blindly.
