Opting into the beta now, all the million different chat windows always bugged me.

opting out of the beta now. I can't stand when I get a message and my game minimizes.
Update to the beta update:

did this fix it minimizing the game when getting a chat message?
I opted in, but occasionally I hear something like someone messaged me, or invited me to a game, yet I have notifications disabled and no chat window popped up.
Would be good if steam just started if i use the beta. :/
