I do a standard build with starting items and then go to boots and so on. I'm not really good with item builds. Well I haven't really played alot compared to everyone else, but I love the game. This will really help, thanks guys.
Aui has inspired me to test Rod of Atos Zeus
I will also use Phase
this should go well
[editline]20th January 2013[/editline]
ok it went terribly because I couldn't even get a rod of atos
had two chinese guys on my team who apparently didn't speak a word of english, and the most i could do to communicate was use chat wheel to say mis instead of saying it in mic
no one bought wards early so I lost rune control, even with two supports, and I couldn't buy them because I had already gotten the flying courior
I used Rod of Atos Death Prophet and Arcane boots. It went quite well, later I decided to get a few items. It was quite slow at the start, I wasn't doing as good compared to my freind. Towards the end I did get some good kills, and did get involced in alot of team fights. Thanks guys. I guess it's quite good.
more people need to do the necrobook + vlad's + soul ring ward first juggernaut pusher build
plus it turns into a 300 damage nuke on a 6 second cooldown which isn't terrible
it pretty much turns into slark's dark pact but singletarget and not as rape-y
honestly its amazing.
350 damage+greater bash damage
1.6 second stun
Greater bash on anyone around the target in a 250 radius
850 cast range
20 second cooldown
ALSO:
stun goes through bkb
that's barathrum, not balanar, if you wanna go by the names..
basically, someone said "aghs is great for night stalker"
then you said "honestly its amazing, here is the aghs ult for spirit breaker"
[editline]21st January 2013[/editline]
And speaking of which, I haven't usually bought Aghs on neither of these Heroes. Very fucking expensive, plus there are many other very good item choices to go with gankers like NightSt./SpiritBr.

Wall hacks is amazing on NS.
Spirit breaker's aghs gives him initiation.
Also I already corrected my mistakes, dunno why you insist on saying em again
hmm yeah it was kinda old post anyway lol fuck it sry
aghanim's is p much really good on most heroes that they are meant for.
especially axe. 6 second cd blade seriously?
still think they should make rubick's aghanim upgrade to be able to steal spells from allies.
Agh's on Void is fucking retarded.
[editline]21st January 2013[/editline]
His current upgrade is fine. Watch this video and still tell me it's useless.
It's a massive waste of gold if the enemy does eventually get Agh's themselves. Not only that, but considering that most of the time you won't even be able to get the enemies ultimate (especially if they spam another spell right away).
Most heroes with an Agh's upgrade worth getting WILL get it at some point.
Void has an Agh's upgrade? What does it do?
One second more on his Chronosphere. That's it.
Void has an Agh's upgrade? What does it do?
Increases duration of chronosphere by 1 second and makes cooldown 60 seconds
it seems ok but void needs carry items
basically only good in some weirdass strat where void is an initiator
Aghs for balanar is extremely underrated, the thing is practically broken.
I always get aghs.

did you even watch the video? it listed like six different heroes who have good upgrades but don't have room to get it themselves.
Which is completely untrue. Scepter is the single most popular item in the game and virtually everybody in pubs gets it at some point if they have an upgrade.
Now you could argue that higher tier players rarely get the item, but higher tier players also make sure their ultimate is pretty freaking hard to get.
In both situations Scepter is an unreliable item and a waste of 4200 gold (which is, by the way, a LOT). There are many better items you can get for much cheaper with a much higher benefit to your team.
But some heroes like Clockwerk and QoP kind of need the scepter. It really shortens and strengthens the power of their ults.
Virtually every Clockwerk and QoP I've ever played with has gotten Scepter, relatively early ones too.
How many Lunas do you see get scepter? How many ward bitch WD's/Lina's? How many Dooms? Razors? All of those heroes and several more have pretty good upgrades for Rubick but many of them will be too busy building other stuff. Many of them don't really have a way to stop Rubick getting their ults either (what is Luna going to do?) It's situational as hell, sure, but when that situation comes up it could be the advantage that wins you the game.
Of course you shouldn't be rushing it or anything, which the video (that you apparently haven't watched) goes over. But if you're in the tier where everybody builds scepter regardless of the match then you can probably build whatever you like and get away with it.

the ulti cooldown reduction does wonders, especially for clock 12 seconds that's nothing.

Yes, I used to use this alot. But then I realised about the Regeneration. Also, it does take a bit to save up, and yet your strenghth, or agility won't be as good.
Don't know if is good.
I go Manta+Butterfly: Then she push insanely( for instance 2 illusion push top while you push bot )

Every 4 out of 5 Luna games I see them get Scepter. It's insanely popular on her, she can farm fast as fuck, and she's a hard carry so she gets room to farm. Scepter is almost REQUIRED on Witch Doctor. If I see a WD on my team, I tell some other support to get wards and I tell WD to farm up one the moment I leave lane. That shit is amazing. Lina farms like mad on her own and she can afford both wards and Scepter if she wanted to (which most do). About half of the Doom Bringers I've played against get Scepter (I know, it's quite depressing). I rarely play with Razors, and in the handful of games when I did most of my friends were going nuts about how it's amazing on him, so I highly doubt it's uncommon on him.
[editline]23rd January 2013[/editline]
Virtually every hero with a scepter upgrade will get it at some point. The only exception on the top of my head has to be Faceless Void, since it sucks balls on him.
I didn't like Luna.... I used to think she was OP at the start of the game. When I first started to play it. But then I saw.... Drow Ranger xD
P.S Does anyone know why Valve changed Doom Bringer's name to Doom? Personally I like "Doom Bringer" alot more. But hey, thats my opinion.
scepter on razor is kinda dumb because it turns his ult into a shitty edict
scepter on razor is kinda dumb because it turns his ult into a shitty edict
it's still really powerful
don't forget it reduces armor
Everyone I know who plays Razor talks about the Scepter upgrade like it's Jesus or something. I have absolutely no idea why.

Blizzard copyrighted "Doom Bringer" with a space. Not even kidding.
i dont like it when the only 2 supports in your team
lina and witch doctor
rushing aghs and bloodstone
[editline]27th January 2013[/editline]
when they dont even have a mek
or a pipe
or a vlads
i didnt want to win anyways
how did i post into wrong thread?
Fast OP Drow Ranger
Build order:
1. Hyperstone
2. Hyperstone
3. Hyperstone
4. Hyperstone
5. Hyperstone
6. Hyperstone
7. Mithril Hammer
8. Gloves of Haste
9. Recipe: Maelstrom
10. Recipe: Mjolnir
repeat steps 7-10 five more times
Invoker with medallion is so awesome. At lvl 11 you should have: 4 quas, 1 wex, 4 exort and 2 invoke, Phase boots, drum and medallion. I usually get the items before I hit lvl 11. 2 Forge spirits, medallion and cold snap can kill almost anything in just few seconds. Usually it takes like 3 or 4 hits from invoker to kill squishy heroes like cm,lina,aa or other weak casters when their armor is like -12.
Dagon on Witch Doctor. Casket, Maledict, DAGON MOTHERFUCKER
