Mask of Madness and Phase Boots on everyone. But in all seriousness I've been meaning to try Halberd on more heroes because it's got really good stats, but most people completely overlook the item half of the time. Something like Phase > BKB > Halberd > Deso/MKB on Razor to be really tanky and able to lock down carries during a fight, as well as hit pretty hard with all the -armour and +damage from items.
team with od, am, and a drow guy randoms a support repicks and goes beastmaster they have no support builds mask of madness first thing whyyyy and drow got MOM TOO
Necrolyte with shadow blade. No really, Shadow blade. You sneak up on some unsuspecting sap, bonus damage + death pulse + ult will normally kill them, if not bring them down to near death so you can autoattack them once or twice. For maximum instagib, get dagon and orchid malevolence.
Or maybe get Pipe, Meka and Bloodstone and just laugh during team fights?
Psssshhhhhh, everyone knows necrolyte needs his daedelus.
Apparently you can't even deny heroes under effect of Maledict. Get a Doom / Veno use their ults with your vodoo combined, and boom, guaranteed kill.
Maledict is such an awesome spell, as there is no way to actually get rid of it.
Just science'd with Axe. Mask of Madness and Orb of Venom are good. Armlet is bad. Don't get armlet on Axe.
Just science'd with Axe. Mask of Madness and Orb of Venom are good. Armlet is bad. Don't get armlet on Axe.
Mask of Madness + Blade Mail 2stronk
Mask of Madness + Blade Mail 2stronk
Mask of Madness + Medallion + Blade Mail The perfect crime.
Since his Vendetta is almost entirely used for its nuke, and it has a high cooldown, I suppose Shadow Blade would couple well with Nyx, allowing him to scout and escape without wasting a huge cooldown.
I think the reason why it works on Bounty Hunter rather than someone like Nyx is because Jinada is a % boost, not a flat damage boost. That's just me though.
Here's an interesting gem I found: Dendi playing void with Force staff and Mana boots.
Here's an interesting gem I found: Dendi playing void with Force staff and Mana boots.
and bloodstone whatttttt TBH force doesn't seem too bad on him. Force is good all around, even tho there's much better he could get it could work.
and bloodstone whatttttt TBH force doesn't seem too bad on him. Force is good all around, even tho there's much better he could get it could work.
Though old Force Staff was better and gave more utility, rip :(

I'm not entirely sure the utility is worth slowing down your farm for. Ninja'd
Though old Force Staff was better and gave more utility, rip :(
And was cheaper?
also pros like to build deliberately terrible items on heroes because A) they are good enough to succeed anyway and B) it leads to tons of idiot pubs copying them slavishly because IT'S WHAT THE PROS DO
also pros like to build deliberately terrible items on heroes because A) they are good enough to succeed anyway and B) it leads to tons of idiot pubs copying them slavishly because IT'S WHAT THE PROS DO
Isn't that how carry tiny started out, though?
also pros like to build deliberately terrible items on heroes because A) they are good enough to succeed anyway and B) it leads to tons of idiot pubs copying them slavishly because IT'S WHAT THE PROS DO
I'm guessing they build just whatever for fun.
Isn't that how carry tiny started out, though?
I thought carry tiny was an obvious thing before the pros did it.
I thought carry tiny was an obvious thing before the pros did it.
Tiny naturally gets ABSOLUTELY HUGE right click single hits. I thought it was obvious to just stack attack speed on him and punch everyone to death.
god, necro w/ shadow, phase, and dagon is amazing
Isn't that how carry tiny started out, though?
Yeah it was. Then it turned out that a carry Tiny is actually quite fucking terrifying. [editline]11th November 2012[/editline] It's more of pro's trying new builds than 'deliberately terrible', because they don't do that. 'They can get away with it' is not true at all, pro's are matched up with other pro's due to their bracket. They will still lose if they're not careful.

"Hey look this rock guy deals fucking THREE HUNDRED DAMAGE ON AUTOATTACK WITH SCEPTER, AND SIX HUNDRED TO BUILDINGS (Not counting bonus damage from items), I'll make some intelligence and strength items because WHO THE FUCK NEEDS ATTACK SPEED"
I'm not saying it wasn't obvious, but it's that it never happened before until recently. It was never this common before.

This game has the best builds ever Armlet and SnY on Dazzle, Blade Mail, Mek and Euls on Lifestealer, Blink rush on Leshrac
Tell me, how is carry tiny NOT extremely obvious. Why the heck would you send tiny farming when you could try to get a kill every 20 seconds? You would just be stealing farm from your actual carry. Plus, tiny is slow, melee, with no natural way of closing in. He would get kited for days. And then someone tried wisp + tiny and won a game.
idk if its unnatural, but there was a sniper using mask of madness and every time he used it the person he was hitting couldnt move due to head shot stuns.
idk if its unnatural, but there was a sniper using mask of madness and every time he used it the person he was hitting couldnt move due to head shot stuns.
I've done it before and it decimates people. But if you get hit at all, you will melt.
idk if its unnatural, but there was a sniper using mask of madness and every time he used it the person he was hitting couldnt move due to head shot stuns.
The cheap machinegun sniper, it's fairly common, seen it a few times. It works if you want a cheap, dirty build, combine it with sange and the guy won't move at all.
idk if its unnatural, but there was a sniper using mask of madness and every time he used it the person he was hitting couldnt move due to head shot stuns.
Implying? MoM is not a bad item on Sniper. Huge DPS increase for low cost that can also fuck you over.
