I tried to buy Skull Basher for Slardar once. After finally getting the prerequisite items, it wouldn't allow me to buy the recipe. I was so confused and upset then it hit me that his passive was already sort of serving the same purpose

yea, it blows
MKB on sniper is fucking funny, so is skullbasher(if you EVER get lucky and get it to proc with the 10%)
Yeah I know, but it's kind of a waste since you will just pull of your ult and some right clicks and then die if you only stack intelligence.
Cool, because if Outworld has a high enough mana pool then he can literally 1-shot an entire team reliably. Mana pool -> pure damage is way 2 stronk.
Also, it's not Outworld's job to become the tank. It's the tanks job to do that.

MoM + Skullbasher = Permastun from my experience.

I think MKB is a lot better, but more expensive.
Anyway it gives:
48 more damage,
15 more attack speed,
25% better chance to proc 100 extra damage and a Stun that is 1.3 seconds shorter than Skull Basher's.
Meh, makes me wanna play Sniper and have fun with it, but I seem to play in a bracket hovering close to High where people usually like to play top-tier carrys, and if left unattended they also get farmed and they win. And a lot of early-game killings too at a times. Not good for Sniper unless good support from team.
if im having trouble farming because people constantly go to gank me i just buy a quelling blade and sit in the trees autoattacking for last hits
they never notice unless if I have a desolator and happen to look
teamfight kunkka is fun:
circlet and gauntlet, and basic regen
finish bracer and get phase boots
get a drum
Get pipe/mek
If your carry needs a vlads, build one too.
Shivas/AC as a luxury
P fun

Yeah I just played a match with sniper..
By the time I got Maelstorm, Desolator and Demon Edge, the enemy team had all quit.

If you're farming really good then you can get MKB after that. It's a build I've done on numerous occasions, and it completely shits on any person you target in a teamfight. Either use it on the initiator and he can't use his spells, or use it on the carry to prevent the dps.
Rod of Atos gives everything slark needs imo: a chunk of health, and a slow so he can keep shanking people in the ass after he leashes
trust me its worth the try, helps out his shit intelligence too

Yea, it seems like it'd be amazing.
Rod is SO fucking underrated.
It's worth it on slark, ursa, and some others you'd probably go "what" at.
I usually get it on Death Prophet, Necrolyte, or Dazzle.
I personally like it a lot on OD, since it gives health and intelligence.
It should be the first item you get on OD after a force staff. The actual cripple is just icing on the cake for OD
i love rod on venomancer
110% slow :pwn:
i love rod on venomancer

Imagine if they started moving backwards because of that.
Start as Support Silencer, get Rampage 20 minutes in.
Imagine if they started moving backwards because of that.
That would be genius.

Moonwalking, only in Dota 2.
Start as Support Silencer, get Rampage 20 minutes in.
The thing about Silencer is that he doesn't become a carry until he steals some Int. Once he has that he's one of the most dangerous carries in the game due to his silences.

But that can be said of anyone. Lich doesn't become a carry until he gets his dagon, and WD doesn't become a carry until he has shadow blade and aghanims. But once those guys have these, they are going to carry your ass.
i love rod on venomancer

Wow, i'll keep that in mind the next time i play the poor venomancer

I tested Veno with Rod of Atos and Skadi. Managed to slow the enemies' speed only to 100, it didn't go below that.

Nuker =/= Carry.
I hate it when people make this mistake.

yeah there's a hard cap to it but it helps neuter stuff like phase, drums or shadow blade really well

But nukers can carry just as well. Normal carries buy items that give them DPS with their autoattacks, nukers get items that cause their nukes to be bigger, such as Orchid, Dagon, Veil, Eth.Blade, Aghanims and Refresher. Why couldn't they carry as well?

There are no spellcasters in the entire game that can carry as hard as a Faceless Void. End of story.
Carries are defined as being item dependent and generally right-clickers. Spellcasters can get items to improve their DPS, but they can still be extremely effective without them.

I dunno man, Tinker can dish out insane damage at a steady rate. He can keep enemies permasheeped, permablinded, dagon after dagon after dagon... To me he classifies as a pretty kickass non-rightclick carry. If you are going to whine about Void getting BKB, Tinker could also get ghost scepter.
And as for your second statement, aren't normal carries exactly the fucking same? Very strong with items, but not very strong without them? Carry-carries just get less power than casters with no items, and more power with items than casters.
Zeus and Batrider aren't carries either, but they have pretty good DPS too. Strong enough to outdamage many carries over the course of a fight.

Void isn't a caster, yes he has an aoe ultimate, but the fact that the sole purpose of his spells set him up to right click freely (same as most carries ie Drow with her silence, and Riki with his cloud) he is a carry due to his item dependence. Void's spells would be completely useless if he didnt have any items to back them up. He's not a caster just cause he has an escape and chronosphere.
There are no spellcasters in the entire game that can carry as hard as a Faceless Void. End of story.
There are like no right clickers (other than void of course) that can either. Point being?
I once built Vanguard as Tidehunter.
Any benefit or why is it unique? I don't know, it was funny because no amount of creeps could do any damage to you.
And I suppose it blocked some extra Hero att. damage too.
It doesn't stack with kraken shell
