I don't like that build unless I'm getting destroyed in lane Having a nuke on a melee hero is just too good in terms of kill potential and farming
true if im doing fine i get a soul ring and max my fire
I like getting Assault Cuirass right after Shadow Blade on Kunkka. It helps with farm/pushing and teamfights so much (which are Kunkka's already strong points). When mixed with Shadow Blade or Daedalus you can 1-hit an entire wave of creeps.
the armour reduction has no effect on the cleave damage >_>
the armour reduction has no effect on the cleave damage >_>
How so? If you lower your target's armor, it'll do more damage. The more damage you do to the target, the more damage dealt on your cleave. Sure it won't increase the cleave damage (since cleave is reduced by armor type, not amount, right?) itself, but it'll increase the damage done that is then cleaved.
no the damage the secondary targets take is based off your damage, not how much damage the primary target takes. basically you just hit the squishiest available target and the high armour guys next to it will melt
not really an "uncommon" build more a "underused item", but i like to build a veil if i/my team has strong magic damage, its really good on Jakiro
I hate it when people say maxing your E first as DK is a bad thing. It increases your survivability so much it's totally worth it if you're being harassed or solo-laning.
Plus its shit late game so you may as well
Plus its shit late game so you may as well
uh he stays pretty tanky late game tbh Pipe and Shivas / AC on DK = you are VERY fucking hard to kill
no the damage the secondary targets take is based off your damage, not how much damage the primary target takes. basically you just hit the squishiest available target and the high armour guys next to it will melt
Assault Cuirass is more for the teamfight utility than anything, the aura is just so good. It's also great for turning Kunkka into a tank.
Plus its shit late game so you may as well
kidding me right? its 12 armor, thats more than platemail. towards end game your armor has around 75% physical damage resistance, and around 50% magical. hes the tankiest character in the game i think other than a super fed pudge. in late game he just sits there taking everything not giving a shit while doing 300 damage in a splash attack.
Assault Cuirass is a great item for any carry that needs dps pretty much
Assault Cuirass is a great item for any carry that needs dps pretty much
Any tank-carry*. Having a Mortred get than instead of a Butterfly isn't such a good idea.
What? You know the evasion doesnt stack... And PA doesnt count seeing as she has an ability for DPS
Any tank-carry*. Having a Mortred get than instead of a Butterfly isn't such a good idea.
You do realize that it is a huge no-no to get Butterfly on Mortred, right?
we were stomping the heck out of the other team so I decided to fuck around with necrolyte veil owns when you have 3 dagons on your team (including dagon 5 on nyx) + makes death pulse even better pretty sure it gives your ult the power of scepter too for way cheaper [editline]25th November 2012[/editline] the helm was going to be a satanic but we won while the reaver was on the way :(
Any tank-carry*. Having a Mortred get than instead of a Butterfly isn't such a good idea.
FUCK FUCK FUCK I mean morphling WHAT am I thinking
Morphling, the Phantom Assassin.
I need an interesting but price-worthy build for juggernaut.
I need an interesting but price-worthy build for juggernaut.
power treads, yasha, and poormanshield (optional soulring) 4000 gold (4800 if soul ring) upgrade yasha into manta at some point
I need an interesting but price-worthy build for juggernaut.
Anti-Armor Whore Yurnero: (Core Items: Phase Boots ~ 1350 + Medallion of Courage ~ 1075 = 2425) Basic idea is that 90% of Jugg's damage is physical, and he can amplify that by building anti-armor items. Medallion gives great stats at a low price, and Phase is the boots of choice for positioning and the flat damage they provide. If you have these two items at level 6-8, you can solo any hero on the map. Good items to build afterwords could include a Battlefury for more farming if you can acquire it in a timely manner, or a Deso/AC for stacking on more damage and -armor.

How I build Juggernaut mainly is, pts, into diffusal blade into a manta. Then I get whatever the current game requires but hopefully getting stats so my illusions gets better.
skadi on silencer ricin' eryyday
I need an interesting but price-worthy build for juggernaut.
well i would say mjollnir and battlefury for amazing push power, and desolator for killing enemy heroes. or you can swap mjollnir for assault cuirass if you want a little more defence and a buff for teammates.
I need an interesting but price-worthy build for juggernaut.
A good cost effective opener for Juggernaut is Phaseboots, Drums, a Wand and a Poormans. Good stats, speed and damage. Plus it only costs a total of 4134, which is less than a whole Battlefury you'd see on a hard-carry style Juggernaut. After that you can open up with some cooler more expensive item like a Butterfly or Manta, or maybe something weird like a Halberd or Diffusal. I find that Juggernaut is a really fun hero to work with since he's strong at pretty much every part of the game, and can function with whatever amount of farm he gets. I should seriously play him more, because early game contribution is something I always like to have with a hero.
I need an interesting but price-worthy build for juggernaut.
First get PMS and magic wand maybe. some tangos. then get Hand of Midas and Phase Boots, then Scepter and kill people with Ult. Then throw away those magic wands and PMS and get 3 Battlefuries. Then ult entire team.
Bloodstone on tinker. Participate in teamfights from a safe distance (or just within bloodlust range) Obtain many charges. One you have just shy of 100 mana regen per second (it's doable) you ma contribute to teamfight by sitting nearby and using rocket/rearm over and over and over. In the days of yore, such was the desire for archers that team of skilled bowmen could change night to day with their flurry of arrows. Today you will re-enact this feat on you're own with something a little more hight tech. And if you get really bored you can get Scythe, constantly re-arm to keep two enemies hex'd at one and yell "PIG RACE!" in allchat.

Push and die.
The best is when you get enough to spam march almost indefinitely. Push and die.
"Just step up to this creep wave, I DARE you."
I find that talisman which gives you evasion that is used in Butterfly really useful on Omniknight. It makes him even harder to kill, and that 25% can mean a LOT in team fights.
i thought up something that could possibly be funny zeus power threads, orchid, shadow blade, veil, bkb, [insert random item] you basically shadow blade into the middle of their team, then use all of your spells + orchid and veil on the enemy carry to literally make them explode in lightning i call it the zeus jihad initiator build
