add a refresher and you're onto something there
add a refresher and you're onto something there
that's the random item aka whatever you please, that there is the core for it
what's the point in power treads? or do you want that little damage boost for the Shadowblade auto-attack before unleashing all the spells?
what's the point in power treads? or do you want that little damage boost for the Shadowblade auto-attack before unleashing all the spells?
they're cheap and you want movement speed, i forgot which boots had most ms
they're cheap and you want movement speed, i forgot which boots had most ms
arcane boots have 5 more ms [editline]1st December 2012[/editline] and they cost 100g more than PT's, woop!
i thought up something that could possibly be funny zeus power threads, orchid, shadow blade, veil, bkb, [insert random item] you basically shadow blade into the middle of their team, then use all of your spells + orchid and veil on the enemy carry to literally make them explode in lightning i call it the zeus jihad initiator build
Does orchid and veil stack with each other?
Does orchid and veil stack with each other?
it would seem so, from what i can read about them
Orchid is all damage and veil is only magical, so yes.
Turn it into a Heaven's Halberd and you can stop a carry from raping people while having that evasion. I feel like as if you didn't know about the best strength item ever.
I didn't, actually. Thanks!
I didn't, actually. Thanks!
it's an amazing item, that's not limited to just str heroes
One of the weirdest builds i've ever heard of was: Mask of madness, blink dagger and blademail. (and i think a tranquil boots too) on axe. Basically your strategy is to blink -> call -> MoM and blademail -> cull (if possible and if you survived also).
it's an amazing item, that's not limited to just str heroes
Just tried it. Even though we still lost, I shut down their over levelled pudge so much. I am DEFINITELY making this core on my Omniknight. (By the end I was practically carrying the team anyways)
i saw a pudge get a straight up talismans once apparently you can dodge your rot
i saw a pudge get a straight up talismans once apparently you can dodge your rot
uh you can't afaik, it's magic damage
uh you can't afaik, it's magic damage
alright, thought so. he must have been dumb
Imagine if Cloak/Hood + Stout Shield could be built into an item which has a chance to block magic damage. That would make stuff like Pudge's Rot or Slark's Dark Pact much cheaper health-wise.
It'd also probably be OP since it could completely counter Zeus/Lina/Necrolyte/Lion/AA/Lich/etc. ults
It probably wouldn't block a terrible amount of damage, though. And if it did, it'd have a really low chance.
It probably wouldn't block a terrible amount of damage, though. And if it did, it'd have a really low chance.
Then it would be useless against most heroes since magic damage is usually very high and it would render other heroes like Slark useless. The point of block is that it's an early-game items that can save you from backing off of lane/jungle. It only blocks around everyone's starting damage. It becomes useless lategame when even the supports, not even mentioning the carries, do thrice that damage. That's why Vanguard is never built after early-game. So the only way to balance it would be to make it a really high block and low damage eh? Well then you just gave away Faceless Void's Backtrack + Anti-Mages Spellshield and now everyone's a super hard carry. It also has no counter like MKB so it's literally broken.
also pretty much every hero that drains their own hp for spells has something to mitigate spell damage. like flesh heap or slark's regen.
Say, people. Has anyone ever tried going support Viper? The reason I want to do this is because Viper's Q is an amazing harassment tool, but it can't be used to its full extent while solo midding.
Say, people. Has anyone ever tried going support Viper?
As a comedy hurr option we had Carry Maiden and with an Anti-Mage supporting her once. Anti-Mage's lane harass is actually pretty strong due to mana burn, and his mobility lets him zip around the map distributing mekanasm and urn charges like a Santa with a vengeance.
uh you can't afaik, it's magic damage
You can backtrack each instance of rot tho, kinda funny.
Lane harrassing early game with lion is fun as shit, just sit back and take all of their mana. [editline]3rd December 2012[/editline]
You can backtrack each instance of rot tho, kinda funny.
You can backtrack anything. The best is back tracking ults.

We did it a second time and stomped hard.
I had Carry Maiden on my team once. Tranquils, HoT and Divine Rapier Didn't go so well.
Soul Ring + Tranquil Boots Venge Tested it out a bit and it's interesting Higher skill build since you'll have less survivability compared to with other common items on Venge like Medallion, Urn, and Drum, but if you can get it early and start roaming fast you can devastate the enemy team and get more than enough kill gold to make up for it. If you don't get it fairly fast then it's probably best not to though since item slots are already scarce for supports and you don't have as much mana issues later on
I like Phase's on Venge. They're so fitting [editline]5th December 2012[/editline] Or I just go Arcane's because none in our team has them.
