Yeah, Suikoden starts out slow until you get the castle. But it's still an awesome game, though 2nd best when compared to Suikoden II.

Tactics is still a classic, the story is interesting (Yasumi Matsuno has a knack for that.) and the game itself is quite deep. In my opinion of course.

It's an extremely disturbing dream emulator. The creator of the game kept a dream log and put them in the game.
