I got it yesterday and i love it, idk what you guys are talking about, this game kicks ass.
Gotta say, I'm a bit disappointed. The maps are too large and the design makes sure that you hardly ever see more than 20 people at a time. I also need a headset.

Got it yesterday. Seems pretty good so far, love the player count. Definitely could be some improvements though. I'd love to see some air vehicles as well.
People complain about there not being enough maps but I haven't spawned in an area that I am familiar with yet so it keeps everything fresh for me. This doesn't count on Suppression and Sabotage maps. I haven't even gotten to the Raven sabotage map yet but I'm already at level 18.

That is a good thing about the massive maps, theres so many different places to fight in. Everytime you spawn in a different squad every game you get put at a different point of insertion which means the areas you fight in get shifted around.

Nope, it's free apart from buying it.
Rented the game for a day.
I played as RAVEN like I did in the beta, and wow, SVER is still winning against us every time.

Seeing as you need to be level 8 to even look at the 256 player modes, doesn't seem like you played it enough to make a full judgement.
Raven doesn't do badly on acquisition, we have a good map to defend. Valor does quite well in sabotage but Sver is definatly up there on domincaiton anyway.

Well I actually got to level 10 from renting it.
And I can make a full assumption because I noticed barely anything was changed, especially the Domination map for SVER and Raven.
How does everyone like playing then?

Played on all 3 teams. SVER is the best, hands down.
As they've made sabotage faction neutral, its going to be interesting to see how the contracts get shared out now. It should show a truer average of the skill and teamwork of the PMC's.
Also, the pistol is supreme. Fuck the machine pistol, just get refire rate and reload speed and you need nothing else.

Did a domination last night, 75 kills 9 deaths, combat smg, combat knife and silver bullet ribbons :D
(only a streak of 9 but that doesn't matter so much)
How many people still play this? Last time I played the acquisition mode was dead, suppression barely had 100 players and the domination player count was taking a hit.
I'm planning on getting this game soon, I think the graphics style looks awesome and I love games like this. Does this game still have really bad lag problems?

I thought this game was dead. It's cool that it's still alive and all but I got bored of it a long time ago.
This game sucks last time I played it, all the gamemodes are basically run by one team.

The people you heard it from are either: modern warfare 2 fanboys that expected to be able to instantly kill people from 10 feet away with a knife or people that expected a fast paced game.
This game would probably be 10x more fun if it had a pc port.
This game needs more weapons. A laser pointer is fine too, and it also needs an emphasis on camouflage. I mean why get custom camo patterns if the game doesn't use them to their full potential? Imagine sneaking up on a poor bastard who didn't bother to take a closer look at the funny looking patch of grass.

Camo works really well IMO, proning in a pile of bushes will usually keep you hidden.
