Same problem here. Can't connect to any server as well since release of 0.35.

It may sound weird (especially on this forum) but I don't own HL2. But I borrowed some sounds from Worms Armageddon CD. And no, they don't sound like worms.

Why is everyone having troubles connecting? I downloaded the latest version, clicked on a random server and played for a good hour, no problems.

If you want good female sounds just take the dying sound from Ace of Spades > wav, download Audacity and increase the pitch or something. Might sound like a mouse but it's a decent way of doing things. V:v:V

Well I used combinations and fiddles with sounds from here: [url]http://www.freesound.org/index.php[/url] For my Fallout pack. Spend 15 seconds on there and you'll soon find it's where every single damned game and film in the history of mankind has cheaped out on sound effects. (Half an hour and you can find the sources of every sound in Wurm. An hour and everything in Lionhead's The Movies.) It's also damned handy if you want to listen to sound clips of people screaming, being killed and crying. Or for games. Whatever floats your boat.

I've even tried using those "server browser" utilities, and yet I still get that stupid popup telling me "your not playing shit today. U mad?" or something to that effect.

Nothing seems to work. I've tried joining every single server listed, regarldess of ping or location but it always gives me the "version mismatch" popup. I can't connect to anything either

Lol, sorry about this. I know it is a real scummy maneuver to make an account just to complain, but I have not been able to connect to a single server all day. I have been playing 0.33 since Sunday and it has been working flawlessly. Now that I have downloaded 0.35, I have not been able to play at all. I have uninstalled and reinstalled everything and still no luck. I even went and downgraded to 0.33 to see if that would work, but it still will not let me connect to any server. I have done a bit of searching and it seems like a lot of people are having this same problem. What I don't understand is how there are so many people on some of the servers, yet there are still so many people who cannot connect. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you. EDIT: Uh, how do I get rid of the Justin Bieber picture?

It's not very fun when everyone is running around doing their own thing. Organized battles are so fun in my opinion. The other day, I was on a map where the blue team had built a small fort on a little island to the north. We had an epic battle that lasted for about an hour. Us (the greens) had tried everything to destroy it but they had too many sniper positions in the surrounding mountains. It was pretty cool. Yesterday, I had probably the best battle yet. I was on the blue team and there was a deep valley between us and the greens with a small island in the center. We fought hard for about 1 hour and 30 minutes. One of the mountains to the south of the valley had so many enemy tunnels dug into it, they also had a little outpost on the top of it. They just couldn't take the valley from us lol, but they fought hard. Then everything kinda dissolved into chaos as the majority of our team just started running around doing whatever they wanted and not cooperating with each other. Man, I want to play now -.-
