Why does everyone compare anything related to pixels, blocks, etc to Minecraft? Ideas like Ace of Spades existed before Minecraft was even though of (and I'm not including Infiniminer and such.)

I think I'm the only person that gets ticked off when people say, 'It's basically Minecraft with guns.' :smith:

Because Minecraft is a very popular game that involves blocks, digging and building things out of blocks.

You don't see anyone calling it Infiniminer with guns.

Well of course, I understand what you mean. Still, it just seems awfully ignorant. It's the same for a lot of things too. Cell-shaded? Looks like Borderlands. Has hats? Team Fortress 2. If it has iron sights? Call of Duty. The iron sights thing is the one I hate the most too: you DO have to aim down the sight of a weapon to actually shoot it accurately.
