Ace of Spades - Minecraft with less mining and crafting, but more guns - Games

Instead of adding another melee weapons or turning the spade and the shovel into one, I think the rifle should just get a bayonet that you can use by pressing a key. It fits with the theme, and doesn't make it tedious to switch to a melee weapon.

I finally got on a server, and spawned in the ground, so I used a grenade and died. I then spawn in the same place, now with more space to spare. I dig up, up, up through brown then grey then green and then finally al layer of black and then beautiful light shines through! I make my way up and walk upon the black landscape [img]http://gyazo.com/3267bed46513ac25e900022e11b3319e.png[/img] I then made a comment about being on top of the world, and proceed to wonder toward the enemy intel. I walk "over" some supposed friendlies and am almost at the intel when I hear a gunshot and am wounded. I turn around, scanning the fog for an enemy. Another shot, I see the tracer, from the scorched ground! I panic and run, and then a comment is made, "Fucking blue hacker" and something about a flying blue. It clicks, this world isn't like this, just I am seeing it like this. I apologise and leave. Time to spend another half an hour attempting servers. The failed to transfer map error mocks me, it's a joke. When the map really doesn't transfer it doesn't matter, it's all a lie. It's all damn lies. War is hell.

When I try to join a server I get the: "server full or misconfigured". I've been playing fine, but now all servers say this. Help?

I've finally managed to get it working, had a very fun match which was unfortunately cut short when the server crashed.

How come for some of us it is impossible to join a game? seriously, I haven't been able to join a single game since this thread got made. always get "could not connect to server" or "full or misconfigured" every. fucking. time.

I just had the hell of a game. It started normally, it was 1 - 0 for blue and I just wanted to get my points back. I saw two bridges made by our team, supported, they were hard do destroy. So, that's how it went. Mainly, blue was defending itself with all forces, and greens were atacking. I always like being the spy, so I took the very edge of the map, made a little tunnel here, a little tunnel there, and pang! I had the intel. Then the real war began. Basically, the greens made one, long tunnel, going over the whole map. I made another one, half way of the map, dropping of in a sort of crater. So we attacked through them. Later on, when blue gained on better people, they broke our second bridge, and bunkered the entrances to the tunnels. It was hard, they had about 5 tunnels ending with a nice sniper sight right at the greens Island. It was a hell of a sniperfest. We defended the second bridge as strong as we could, and it never got destroyed after all. But then, when the blues began to snipe from their new found tunnel, build by a good fellow Green, and always striked from the west. That of course gained our atention, we didn't know where they came from, we took our guns and defended. In this time, a little newbie called Deuce managed to get the intel, and run back to their base. I though maybe it was better, the intel was at a bad position, and we were winning like 2-6 anyway. I was wrong. The new intel spawned in the heart of the warzone, in the west of the green isle. I ordered my team to bunker it up, made it un-underdigable, it was placed on a solid tower and inboxed. They didn't manage to take it afterwards anymore. A fellow Soldier, "Pvt.", a real good bro, build an amazing green tower at our island, three men were sniping all the blues they could, since it was high in the sky and open in all four directions. Blues tried to pathetically steal our intel with grenades, but befor they could destroy our blocks, they were repaired already. PVT. had to go though. He went away, just for a little while, but it was enough time for a Blue bastard, named Deuce, hell, maybe even the same which stole our intel in the first place, to take control of the tower. I killed him. The tower was under fire though, and after a little while I could hear a silent "pick pick pick"... And suddenly... the tower fell. The Amazing, big, beautiful tower had fallen, they just cut off the very bottom of it. I almost died in the fall damage, but managed to get my ass to the medic tent. I had to run back to the intel, and killed the guilty one on the way there. A longer while I defended the intel, or, better said, I drank tee and chatted with my fellow soldiers while blues were dropping like flies. Pvt came back. I remember that. He just stood there and asked "Oh my god, where is my tower?" He knew the answer. I just saw him getting armed up with nades at the nearby medic tent. What could I do? I went after him. We ran, and I was surprised when a few, maybe 4 or 5 greens joined in. We marched at the blue base. There was nothing. All blues were in their manholes, sniping our intel defense. They died though, and had to respawn. I went onto their old Intel defence building roof. It was still in tact, one wall wasn't there, but except that, it was good. The rest of the base was abounded, it looked like after an airstrike. The Rest of the soldier with me and Pvt entered the building, or followed me on the top. Soon we noticed, blues were spawning. We were at the very edge of the map, so the Blues spawned slightly south. We had our guns aimed at their asses. It was the biggest gunfight I saw, no snipers, no nades, just we in a building and loads, LOADS of blues. I saw pvt getting hit, and he ran back into the house. I didn't have the time to check on him, there were loads of blues in the distance, and they already took 4 of us. Soon, I saw my death too. A blue from a big distance, shot me right in my already wounded chest. As the camera fell do the ground, I saw the other soldier on the roof drooping too. I just wondered... How many did we took with us? How many of us will make it out here alive? One. Pvt didn't give up. He stopped shooting, but not fighting. While I was already back in the base, defending the intel I just wondered where around here he is. But then I saw it. "Pvt. has captured the blue intel" It stood 9-3 for the greens. We would hit the 10 mark. I wished him luck. Soon, while standing on the bastion in which our intel was hidden, I saw him, he ran, not looking back, through the water right to the tent. We had it made. With much Glory he had avanged his loss of the tower he put his hear and soul into earlier. It was done. We won. The Grunmacht was successful. I said my goodbye, like everyone else. I'll see you cruising on the servers. And I really do hope I'll see Pvt. and the other bros I met again.

Well i made some headway on finding the offset for the player limit, not really. I'll try agai ntomorrow

We need larger player limits!

I'm guessing no one's sorted out the issue for the people with the Server Connection Failed problem? Guess I'll just wait a couple months and try again later :smith:

God damn it, I hate when your team is disorganized. The entire blue team was doing shit all when the greens had this: [IMG]http://i488.photobucket.com/albums/rr246/Mikedestruct/AOS2.png[/IMG] And they weren't doing anything! Instead of pushing forward, taking a nearby mountain, and creating defenses, they were either charging directly at it, or they were being fucking autistic and building shit elsewhere. I had to go fucking Rambo and sneak through at least 100 blocks of god damn water, crouched, and hiding from Green snipers to go up to their main bridge and cut the fucker down. Even then, that didn't rally us. We ended up losing.

the most satisfying thing about destroying the opposing team's hard work is that you don't get banned for it like in minecraft

blue has no place on the battlefield. greens blend in we are superior

and that one person on the other team will rage like fuck and demand for your ban
