I blitz'd past a few blue snipers that we're firing at the green fort. I jumped out of the water and climbed the hill that 2 guys were on. One was sniping the other was building a small bunker. I quickly kill the sniper and toss some grenades at the building and finish him off with the rifle.
I dismantle most of the bunker and push on, scant seconds later I hear 2 pairs of foot steps, knowing I cant take two soldiers head on I hide in a ditch and see the two guys drop down in front of me and B line for green fort. I charge after then and land a head shot on one and strike the other in the back a few times.
Now I'm taking fire from snipers and try to get back to our fort, as I jump out of the water a sniper hits me in the back of my head instantly killing me. But damn it was fun.
On every single server i get "Map transfer failure or version mismatch"
no port forward i guess?

This game seriously needs an hit indicator, i was beign shot all the time but could not understand from where
We need demolition charges so we can demolish better (make the placeable but with much larger area of effect than grenades). I managed to get into the green bunker (or should I say fortress) but could't do much with those 2 measly grenades (picking out the blocks one by one is just suicide).

You dont need the port forwarded to connect.

Shit, this was fucking fun. Green team were attempting to steal our intel using tunnels why I dropped in all commando and shit and started shooting every single one of them in the face, and then sealing off the tunnel.
Then I died from my own grenade. Shit is fun.
So I got bored and made a little Halo mod.

Detonation charges should have a larger blast area than grenades, but have a 5-10 second delay after being triggered before exploding just to give people a chance.

Some light artillery too (maybe even some heavier one, but with very long cooldowns).

Also I'm not the only one getting a WWI feeling from this game right?
Had a pesky bunker on a hill top cliff face that was choking the main tunnel across the map bellow, I snuck around to the back, shoveled a counter tunnel out and intercepted the bunker system, right as I broke through the guy in the bunker turned around, epic grenade battle ensued, I defeated the green turret gunner and destroyed his emplacement. Mission success, blue team sucks though, I might go to green.
Had so much fun destroying the Green's walls as a Blue. They kept building some kind of large green-colored wall around their base and I rushed in and killed the builders and pickaxe'd the bottom blocks and collapsed most of that shit, that'll teach them hippies that it's war.
We need some fucking bazookas, too. Like having it as an alternative to the grenade, but you only get half the ammo (Start with 1, maximum being 2).

That's why we need less hills and personally I think the player absolutely needs to be able to traverse a 1x1 block height difference without jumping, that'd smooth out the flow so much...

I've tried every server.
Well shit. Built a bunker walls 2 blocks thick sloped so grenades can't be thrown into windows. Tested it with grenades and it held fine. Could easily take 6 grenades before being breached.
So then blue came around and naded it from the inside.
Is there any fix for the "Grey World' Bug?

While it can be sort of annoying i like the way it is now. It makes defending hills easier and creates interesting tactical situations.
Hmm. Seems Like instead of grey world now I'm getting Map transfer failure or version mismatch.
Its good though. Not wasting so much time on it.

If by "Tactical situations" you mean 2 guys attempting to shoot eachother and not being able to do it because they both fell to a pit and are reloading, then yeah.

Yeah, I am really hopping to go far with it. I plan on purchasing a domain when I decide on one. I also hope to refine the mod section and have a few other writers get aboard. Oh and if any of you feel like being a guest writer let me know.
