Just tried on my laptop, which has windows xp on it, got it to work somewhat. Perhaps this has windows 7 64 bit issues?

It was fun played it for a few hours but it loses it's charm very quickly guess it's more fun when you play with IRL friends will try that tomorrow :D

I love Ace of Spades, but I'm a bit curious - why is this game so popular? I'm going to play devil's advocate and say that it's buggy, the graphics engine isn't impressive at all, and you spend more time looking for a working server than actually playing the game. So why did it explode as it did? What's your opinion?

The same thing happened to Minecraft when it first came around; limitless opportunities to create things [i]with other people[/i] made it ultimately refreshing and neat. Now it's just taking the core gameplay of that and making it more gritty... with voxels.
