You still don't get the fact that we won't have any mode besides creative to play if he removes the alpha. Not to mention the other modes he's planning. Creative is fun but not having the next 1-2 years of updates is definitely not what i want.

I'd be pretty pissed yeah, but jesus you can't read, he didn't say Notch would cancel development all he said was that he'd stop alpha/infdev while he carries on making the game, so all we have to play is creative.
