Yes it is. It's a very legitimate excuse. Giving out more invites would clog up the servers even more and people would keep posting in the thread saying "Y CANT I PLAY SMP D:< D:< D:<", besides, it's a CLOSED test, not a give-your-keys-out-to-whoever-asks-for-them test.

Okay, this is the problem with the SMP server. I fell down a clientside bottomless pit and had to reconnect, and it took FIVE SECONDS to refresh and enter the code again, and in that time someone else joined and the server was full again.
I think i'm going to make a water-slide down to my underwater base.
