I never said he [B]Wouldn't[/B] have to change the password, however he'd have to release a client update to do it, as the current client has the password coded in it somewhere to activate the "Connect" Button.

I'm playing singleplayer, its just I hate people being unfair. This was a horrible idea to release the password and again 4chan ruins everything. We now have people using bots, I've found several scripts all over the internet to automatically connect you into the server. Its fucking ridiculous and I want to stab people now. :geno:

Notch's fault for a private beta. If there's a working version he should release it, I'm pretty sure 90% of the community doesn't care how buggy it is.

It's pretty buggy, going to wait 'till the public alpha to play again.
After reading multiple pages, seeing a couple streams, and hearing a lot of whining and anger, I've decided to ignore !!Thomas!! and just wait for the public release. It's no more than a few weeks away, if not closer.
It's just too much of a pain to bother with right now.

SMP is fun, although a lot of people are having problems, i've been connected for around an hour or so and loving it. I even wrote my name on the grass with torches.

The only way to respawn is to reconnect, right? There's a black hole near the spawn, right? If a bucket works, you should use the current to throw those that are afk into the hole.

All the black holes people are encountering are clientside. They only appear for you.
