I got in to SMP for 2 hours then had to get back to the spawn, I typed /home and spazzed out, couldn't get back to normal so I left. :smithicide:
Guys, I want to clear an incredibly massive space in /game/ to be completely flat so I can make a tutorial level from the ground up. How would I go about doing this?
Make it in NBTEdit?

Yeah, right now the spawn is a memory leak, so going there will end it lol. I hope that map get's cartographer'd. I want to see my name on it in torches hehe.

If you're talking about MCEdit, I already tried it, and couldn't figure out how to straight-up delete things.
I got all the items from chests in dungeons. Including gunpowder, string, and golden apple, among other things.

Yeah, and so few people leave. And when they do, the spot is filled in milliseconds. It's really a very low chance to get in. But since i'm assuming most people will be playing SC2 tomorrow (me included), there will be a LOT more slots open for Minecraft MP. Assuming the password is the same as well.
I got in, finally. No crashes! It was well worth it.

It doesn't work for .dat files, only .mclevel files, which are now defunct due to /game/ being the only surviving in development version.
Server has been very stable for the past couple of hours, I've been in it with no problems.
