I'm not sure. Last time it was made early people kept posting in both of them and it got real weird. Then this whole thing happened where three threads got made at once.
I think you should wait for the lock, and if lilcheeselad doesn't show up, you can make it. Just a suggestion though, I guess you can do what you want. :\

the main issue last time was cheesemonkey coming in and sniping it, and lilcheeselad not giving his up. so we just had 2 going for a while until he gave up on it.

That and they kind of stop being relevant if the game is updated halfway through the thread, and, well, given the nature of Minecraft compared to the length of the threads nowadays, it might not be a good idea.
