It has to be Still Lava or a Lava Source. It can't be flowing.

Oh wow... After explorin' a bit, it seems I can use boats to get to each of my houses. I ended up building each one next to the ocean, and I didn't really even notice.
Also, my game crashed after looking up in the air, and all my terrain I changed up was gone... The only thing that stayed the same was my inventory. I made a lot of iron pickaxes, and upon crashing, all my iron that I used to make 'em was still in my treasure chest. So I had all my pickaxes, and got my iron back. :c00l:
Oh, and I found some of the new mobs. I thought Notch said he'd make them climb walls, but... They don't, for now...

It's random with each world you make, so if you make a new world you might get snow, if you don't, delete it and try again.
Also use [url]www.minecraft.net/game/[/url] not infdev.

All started from a loooong drop hole I found on the surface, this room isn't even the biggest one, but it was one of the few that were illuminated by the lava.
