Do we need a new save to spawn any of the new stuff or are old saves fine?

Old saves, new areas. Except for slime, they'll appear on old places. I still haven't finished exploring the cave network, after almost 2 hours I have enough iron to build a castle out of it :v:

Bamboo or whatever it is is so easy and fast to grow! I mean all you do is trim it and you can get a load of it! Once you fill up your plantation, there is no more farming other than trimming the tops off!

A mod just gave me a multiplayer code, you just have to email notch saying you're not impressed with the game and you want compensation

Oh for god's sake. I went so long without blackscreening, and had saved recently, but right after I made and placed my furnaces the game froze as usual. And because blocks don't save but the inventory does, it ate my 16 stone. Lovely.

Notch will give them out to well known and trustworthy people of the community, and asking will get you nowhere.
