goddamn we go through these threads like duke nukem goes through 75 person gangbangs
V31 - At least I still have my books.
Is it possible to craft a saddle?
And what's this third person glitch? It looks terribly usefull.
V31- Just another brickblock in the wall.
Is it possible to craft a saddle?

It's not a glitch, just press f5.
Also, no, you can't craft a saddle, you find them in dungeons most of the time.
EDIT: Oh right that glitch, I don't know :v
Define: Proper Walls.
as in a stone wall or a wood wall that isn't a block thick. Maybe half the thickness.
Of course, I get stuck between a slime and lava, and I kill the slime only to have it split into four more which kill me, and cause my diamond pickaxe and diamond sword to fall into the lava.
CAn I have a link to an 1.0.11. 32By32 texture pack?
And what's this third person glitch? It looks terribly usefull.
Go into third person (F5), stand right next to a wall in a space at least 3 blocks tall, and look down. You should be able to see through it.
I relocated my bamboo farm to a field I just prepared next to my house. There's water rows surrounding the bamboo coming in from the ocean, and it's a clean square shape.
-snip-
too lazy to make a place to plant the rest of my bamboo so i just put it along the coastline and dubbed it "the bamboo coast"
how do I do the 3rd person glitch? I know I am late.
I'm pretty sure it's supposed to be papyrus, because you don't make paper out of bamboo. . . .

Just press F5 next to a wall.

Retoast for New Page
I was waiting for a new thread to post this, but I'll just put it in the new one too. LONG POST AHEAD.
TO CREATE A MINECRAFT RESOURCE MAP USING CARTOGRAPH AND PAINT
1. Explore as much of your world as you want, as Cartograph only maps areas you've been to.
2. Open Cartograph and create a normal map of your land. Find your civilization or any landmarks for later.
3. Open Cartograph and create a map of the resource you want, by putting its number into the 'Only' box. The block memory numbers are at the end of this post.
4. Paste the map of your resource over your normal land map in MS Paint. Now, it will show you the locations of all of the ore that you selected.
Things to remember:
If you want to put multiple resources on one map, you would have to color each and every dot from the resource map a colour that isn't already used. It would be easiest to just use multiple maps.
One pencil mark in Paint is the same as one block in Minecraft. If you drag the pencil over four Paint pixels, in game you would have to travel four blocks.
You may have to update your maps every once in a while, as when you explore your world then there would be more resource opportunities.
To find the ore you will probably have to dig for a while, seeing as the map doesn't give distances. A diamond pickaxe is reccomended for digging for your ore.
An obsidian ore map is difficult to create because each different time you go underground, there is a potential to create more obsidian.
There's really no use for an air resource map. Derp.
Some resources, which can only be made through crafting, would be useful to make a map of, as it would also give the location of your civilization if you cannot find it on the world map (As in, make a workbench, make the map, that dot is your civilization).

Blobs are just such cute little buds.
Look who came bouncing up my mine stairs:

I just found out why my laptop can't run Minecraft. It's running Vista and only has 512MB of RAM... Now I have to save up $50 to buy 2GB of RAM for it, and another $30 for a new battery.
I have to buy the game to play it?
Oh.

Minecraft never ceases to amaze me.

You can play creative mode and a VERY old version of survival test for free, but for all of the new stuff you need to pay.
