I made an amazing bar, which most of it is underground. It has a deck and belcony on the second story, a drink ordering area on the first, a bar in the basement, a library in the basement, and sleeping quarters in the basement. It's amazing. It also has water running under the glass door and the underground has windows to some water from the sewers.
I'm going to make a video when I have a decent video taking software that doesn't lag everything up.

If there is another square of water below those next to the gaps it won't flow through. Water doesn't just magically change direction in mid-flow. It needs something to make it turn.

My farm is just really long bridges across a lake, so I can run across at full speed harvesting, then by the time i get back, It's grown again.

There's still a chance, go to where the minecraft saves are saved on your computer (application data/.minecraft), and open the folder of the world that got corrupted. In the folder find the level.dat, and level.dat_old. Delete level.dat nad rename the other one, so it doesn't have _old.
Hopefully the game saved the backup some time soon and you'll still have most of your stuff, and hopefully you don't skip pages and actually read this post.

Delete the minecraft.jar.
If that doesn't work then either
A. Shoot yourself
B. Get a new computer
C. Do some research instead of asking everyone about it.

pictures of bridge farm. It's fully enclosed, so you don't have to go back and get the ones that fall to the side.
A trip to the other side and back gives enough papyrus for about 400 books.
