Ok saves being deleted randomly is seeming to be getting more common.
My world 5 (20.09mb) was wiped and when I reinstalled it (from a back I made) I couldn't move, The mobs weren't moving, and all I could do was look around 360o
Then my mates randomly went, he didn't have a backup so he raged and sent a angry email to notch.
Another friend raged at me shouting in a dick for telling him to buy it and that its a unstable piece of shit that randomly delete's files (He's blue screened and when he turned his PC on again all of his minecraft saves where Ka-Put)
All within 24 hours; I hope to god that it was a coincidence

Peaceful until I have a nice settlement, then off to the mines on Normal.
I think I'm gonna stop playing for a while until Notch fixes peoples saves being deleted randomly, seeing as how Java tends to crash alot I'd rather not risk it.

I emailed him and asked if they were going to be server or client sided in the first release, and he said that there won't be any monsters at all in the first version and that the first version will be more of a test.
Aww, I can't burn bamboo. I had plans to make a tower of it and burn it.
