You can make a cactus pit where the bottom is like this:

Where D is the dirt around the hole
C is cacti(remember to put sand under them)
X is empty space
Anything can be on top, it won't hinder the cactus growth
Enemies would need some serious ninja skills to fit perfectly in between the cacti to not get hurt

OK, it seems that the game melded the two save-games together. There's new stuff but also old stuff.

This happened to me yesterday, I created some huge ass rollercoaster, the game updated and I hadn't heard about the slimes, I got into my minecart and had a great time until it came to the end (its a WIP) and there was this huge amount of them waiting for me..
Also they seem to spawning on peaceful for me :ohdear:
Thank god the post cap was increased, hopefully this solves the retarded bickering over who the next threadmaker should be.
