It's a pretty normal thing for "slime" monsters... kinda like the hydra but not really.

Monsters named "Slime" works like that in every game that they ever appear in. So no, it's not something he "stole" from Ratchet & Clank.

I made this in Second Life in about 10 minutes using the pack I posted a little eariler just to demonstrate how easy it can be :D

Ok, then find a lake and make a dock anyway. Place a sign on the dock saying "Summer Retreat"
And if you can, place a boat on the dock. It'd be a good thing if when Notch implements biomes, it works on already-created maps, so that this wouldn't just be a cosmetic dock platform.
