I have to somewhat disagree there Kojax. I found a lot of interesting things just by exploring the world in Oblivion on foot. Yeah, if you stay on the direct path, there probably won't be much. Although, I agree that some quests pretty much force you to use it.
Also to be fair, Morrowind had quite a few quests itself that would have been ridiculous without the Silt Striders.
Also if they're adding ironsights I want decent red dot, ACOG, or EOTech sights that don't take up a huge chuck of the screen and black out the rest. I don't really care about telescopic scopes since you wouldn't be using them in close quarters anyway.
Yeah umm, about that...
The iron sights are more like the doom 1 style of holding a gun. So basically F:NV's Iron sights are down at your stomach.

Seriously? I hate when they do that. Might as well not include it at all.
Then just change it. Jeez.
Even on the highest sensitivity, it still takes a long time (on 360). I'm just exaggerating anyway, but the crosshair and combat needs a big revamp.

That blows. :sigh:

God damn, what are they thinking? They model sights into a weapon (usually, decent looking sights), and can't even bother to centre the weapon on your screen?
Almost all the things I wanted in FO3 are coming to NV, a realistic mode, the (now shitty) ironsights, and some of the smaller features I forgot. But they really need to improve that damn engine, it gets unstable as ass at times (even on the console versions), and the lack of third person animations for certain things is annoying.
An engine that isn't the gamebryo engine.
Yeah, it isn't going to happen...
This this this.
Take that damn engine and throw it in the trash.
lack of stupid green filter over everything
There's an orange filter now.
v:v:v
All the features what New Vegas has are in Fallout 3 too, with mods.
Make it so NPC's don't comment every damn time I bump into something.
All the features what New Vegas has are in Fallout 3 too, with mods.
except good story, characters, and quests.
Full body awareness.
Co-op. Co fucking op.
Risk of turning into a Ghoul or a Super Mutant.
There is a mod for that on Fallout 3, but I do also want this.
Remember how you could turn into a vampire in Oblivion? Turning into a ghoul could be similar, some up sides and down sides. Like some people won't talk to you or even become hostile but you are resistant to radiation.
except good story, characters, and quests.
What?
Fallout 3 doesn't have them.
An UPDATED Gamebryo engine (There is no need to throw the engine away completely as if it's problems can't be fixed, which they infact can)
diagonal running animations
vehicles that you can upgrade and such
It would be a pain in the ass to port over the naughty content, right?
remove kids
Better writing and more unique dialog choices
An actual story.
More polish
A learning curve/difficulty.
VATS that don't miss

50% of the time i mean
[editline]02:40PM[/editline]
An actual story.
It apperantly has a better story and more RPG-ish, due to it being worked on by the fallout 1 and 2 guys

Oh come the fuck on.
It's up to the modders once again to fix the game and actually make it playable.
Perhaps courier has eyes in his stomach.
No.
What do you mean "no"? Are you going to be afraid it's "going to be like Call of Duty" if they don't make aiming down sights retarded?
I'm sorry, but in real life aiming down a sight sort of looks like this:

and not like this:

Okay? Okay.
Fallout isn't supposed to be realistic.
Fallout isn't supposed to be realistic.
Not realistic ≠ Dumb
So in your fantasy apocalypse world you push the sight into your eye socket? Okay, whatever makes you happy.
More voice-actors
Better animations, seriously, my male charachter shakes his ass in power armor like a girl.
Optimize the game, so it won't crash randomly.
Fix the radio stutters.
Children killable, or removed. or don't give them weapons.
Chance to be a ghoul (CH-4 no rad poisioning, maybe a perk that pepole who like ghouls ignore the Ch-4.)
No enclave, or super mutant army, something original.
That's about it I guess.
