Who have you gotten into Minecraft? - Games

Uh, 8, maybe 9 people, I think? I started it, but we probably convinced a few people as a group.

I have gotten 6 people addicted to minecraft. 5 are people from college and the other is my brother.

My brother and a few of his mates,sister,cousins, about 5 steam friends and a few IRL friends. The rest of the school hates minecraft, I left them playing on COD and never tried to persuade them.

A few of my friends, and FINALLY, my girlfriend. She swore she would never play because it was too boring... Guess I am more convincing than her brother.

My entire school pretty much. Every guy i work with.

I try to get people to play Minecraft, or listen to tasteful music, or stop acting like asses, but the majority of my school is hipsters, the worst kind of stoners, and refined ghetto trash that can barely even speak broken English.

My entire programming class, I played minecraft on my account on a day when the teacher wasn't there and now the teacher is pissed cause just about everyone in the class is always playing minecraft

Myself.. I stumbled upon it when searching around google. Looked fun so I tried it. It was still in InDev then. So I bought it.

No one in my school, all of my school consists of the kind of people who classify games as "gay" when they are not about shooting people or have "HD graphics". They called me a "retard" for liking it. Though yeah my cousin loves the game. I also got someone from australia to play it.

About 18 kids at my school. About 5 of us had gotten it in July and it spread from there. Me and this other kid host a serv for kids at our school too. We constantly get people interested. It works like this Sounds boring- still boring- okay- looked it up, looks fun- holy fuck this is cool i'm buying it

I started a chain, I told one friend and he told his friend and he told like 12 Plus my friend owns a forum so I would say like a lot.

One day at school I had minecraft on a USB so I decided to try and play it. It wouldn't get past the login screen but one of my friends brought it the next week.

My friend and his brother. Some classmates. My little sister. Possibly some other people, but not knowingly.

I think I was the first out of me and my friend that play it to find out about it, but I told him straight after. This was before there was any version for sale, the old creative mode, so I don't think I really 'got him into it'.

I told about 5 of my friends about it, and we've all played consistently for about a year. Then this year, everyone at school has a macbook, and they all find out about the game from one of my friends. This equates to ~400 people that play Minecraft because of me.
