Locksmith and pickpocket are good choices for the disco. Get the locksmith to open those hard to get safes and use the machine guns to clear out the guards around them. Use pickpocket to rob the civ's easily.
If anything it's harder because it goes from a semi-stealth game to a rush-for-coins-and-die game.
This. I like being the cleaner cause I can mostly sneak around doing my own thing without causing alarm while everyone else runs around making a mess :v:
I just can't clear out galerie d'art in the pickpocket story.
NOPE.
haha holy fuck, just beat disco on my first try with 1 friend, we went as mole + hacker, ofc we got all the coins too died a lot, mostly my friend but i stealth dug my way to him so it was pretty safe along the way, although it took a good 10 minutes to get to him (sometimes the civvies, seeing me from the dance floor, would run up to the DJ area, where my tunnel was trying to head towards my friend, they would either then just sit in the DJ booth or my tunnel. half the dance floor population was sitting in the DJ booth) the worst part was, when we were heading back from the redhead, i had to have my friend provide intel on whether or not it was safe for me to head back to a safe room. he said it was safe, so i made my way around the first laser, and made it to the small area before the big hallway. the phone in the corner RANG just then, and the guard in the room i was trying to head to ran out, saw me, and shot me (ofc we also had extremely low health 24/7 with no offensive/defensive weapons) i swore vengeance on phone [editline]14th May 2013[/editline] i wish the level editor would come out already btw, this is extremely fun and i dont want it to ever end
i wish the level editor would come out already btw, this is extremely fun and i dont want it to ever end
Just wait untill you get to the last level, then you will know what never ending pain is all about To this day I still haven't managed to walk through the front door.
Just wait untill you get to the last level, then you will know what never ending pain is all about To this day I still haven't managed to walk through the front door.
Having managed to solo and clean out the entire game up until that point, I am very certain that level is designed to not be beatable (in so much as fully cleaning goes) unless you have a team. Everything else just requires patience, trial, and error. I find Pearls Before Swine to be the very hardest level outside of the last one solo simply because there feels like an element of luck involved in order to get some viruses going to clear away handprint doors and cameras - and you need the wrench in the upper right anyway to deal with the safes on the second floor. Basically anyone who is stuck on that level, I feel for you.
Yeah pearls before swine was such a pain in the ass to finish, it took us 50 minutes to finish it in a team of 4 (granted our mole was an idiot and kept making holes everywhere, but still). The later levels were nowhere as hard, hell, I found the royal palace level to actually be easier than the lockpicker version And yeah it definitely feels like it on the last level, hell, the only way to get through the front door without getting murdered instantaneously is standing in a certain spot as the lookout to make a guard open the door for you (on the last level, you get the original 4 cast with the added abilities from the unlockable characters) and even then you have to go through a laser, a smg guy and shotgun patrol and run for the nearest hiding spot. So that level is in the bullshit league even for a team
Monaco added to Beta Workshops: http://steamcommunity.com/workshop/browse?appid=113020 Level editor soon to follow, hopefully.
Level editor is released on the beta branch. (In Steam to go the games properties, updates, and switch to "Beta-". I think you might have to beat the game or something first though.
I haven't beat the game and I can use the editor/beta fine.
How exactly is it you launch the editor? I figured it was the Mole's Workshop but I'm unable to select or click it. Alright nevermind. You're unable to move the level section cursor down to the mole's workshop unless you do it from the very first level.
